Meteorologist adam joseph is here now. We said that memorial day monday would be the worst of the three day weekend. Of the three Holiday Weekend. Really at the shore it was kind of a washout from start to finish. The rain still at the coast. As we look at storm tracker6 live double scan theres some of the rain new jersey delaware about to push away from cape may to Atlantic City and surf city but were also tracking a front to the north and west. You see a line near harrisburg and pottsville and now that will be pushing into the northwestern suburbs. Really the heart of the Delaware Valley kind of a squeeze play with the rain to the north and west, rain to the south and east and at this point the heaviest rain is now off the coast. This is still some of the remnants of what was Tropical Storm bon flee in the carolinas. Thats why its tremendously humid down the shore. Presently right now and again some light showers still lingering but as we lift farther to the north and west, we are dealing with a cold front that is approaching, again berks county, Lehigh Valley as well as parts of lancaster and that particular area will be working into those northwestern suburbs as we go a little bit later on this evening. As we take a look at the bar graph here, because it all depends on location of where those temperatures were today. 71 in sea isle city. That was the high temperature. But again, it was tropically humid so it was a very uncomfortable rain. 76 in millville. In the city of philadelphia, 79 degrees. Trenton with some pops of sun, some brightening to the sky, 80 degrees and in the Lehigh Valley with a couple hours of sunshine, temperatures spiked to around 85 degrees and were still seeing those mid 80s in the northwestern suburbs and that is kind of destabilizing the atmosphere allowing those storms to pop to the north and west and again you see the cooler numbers but again, very uncomfortable with the high humidity where the rain is falling at the shore. There you see the circulation near charleston, south carolina. The remnants of bonnie will remain down to the south but we broke some moisture away from that circulation up the eastern seaboard today and again that rain made it as far north as dover, millville and that was about it. And as you can see any of that sun is now being fitted away by the clouds increasing from the south. So tonight clouds win out, a scattered shower downpour or thunderstorm from the north and west coming in in spots, 62 to 68 degrees remaining very muggy overnight. And then for tomorrow in center city, the sun returns. Well drop the humidity a little bit tomorrow at 87 degrees. Less humid in the Lehigh Valley tomorrow but mostly sunny, a pretty decent summerlike day at 86 and if youre going to be down the shore tomorrow, morning clouds giving way to afternoon sunshine and a sea breeze kicking in so temperatures cooler there but nice at 77. The exclusive accuweather 7day forecast, 87 tomorrow, sun returns, less humid. And back to back beautiful days wednesday 83, low humidity. Thursday very comfortable, partly sunny at 79. The next front comes in at the end of the week on friday with some scattered downpours and thunderstorms of 76. And then it clears out in time for saturday, 81 and then more storms likely with another front sunday afternoon at 77 degrees and then we dry out monday with a similar temperature, so were going drop that humidity and see the sun return over the next couple of days.
