You go to do a simple task with patients and you dont have an alcohol you dont have id tubing and running off the floor and going down central supply to get things that should be staffed on a hospital floor. Weve been putting up with short staffing on the floors and waiting for our patients in particular trying to get them ready for the next procedure. Recovering them after procedures trying to get them up on the floors and with few nurses and high census we cant send them up there. Staffing levels exceed National Standards and nurses afternoon more than 100,000 a year in wages and they contracted with a company to fly in replacement nurses and claim everything is going fine during the strike with the fillins and before this walk out. Our Staffing Levels are above National Arms and sometimes top third based on national benchmarks. Crozer spends more for nursing staffing than any comparably sized hospital in this region.
