Josephs university is conducting an internal investigation into serious allegations of hazing in the womens softball program. Some of the stuff that allegedly took place is so graphic we cannot even talk about it in this report. Action news was there as the bus that was to transport the st. Josephs womens Softball Team to virginia was delayed several hours this is hazing scandal unfolding and university would not confirm four student athletes were suspended and not allowed to board the bus. But theyre confirming internal investigation is being conducted by hired professional. Sources telling action news freshmen members of the Softball Team were forced to undergo hazing for sometime and they alleged that students were being given written instruction from a note from upper classmen telling them this is deliver reference week the time has come for hem to show respect and realize their place f they dont follow instruction theres will be dire consequences. Sources say the students being initiatedhood to consume alcohol, perform sexual acts involving inappropriate touches and performing lap dances for upper classmen on the team and mimicking various sex acts and more graphic to outline here. The hazing allegedly took place not on campus but in home of upper classmen. University spokesman joe lynnardy confirmed theyre aware of the allegations and that they are being taken seriously and theres multiple versions of same event and that multiple interviews with student athletes coaches and staff have taken place in others still to come and remedial action was taken toen sure safety of all student athletes.
