A new York Police Officer shot and killed in the line of duty will be laid to rest later this morning. Police officers from across the country are in brooklyn to pay their respects to officer wenjian liu. The action cam was at the fraternal order of Police Headquarters where 80 off Duty Officers boarded two buses heading to new york city. They will attend the funeral of officer wenjian liu. The killer took his own life after ambushing the two officers. Law enforcement is first and foremost a brotherhood and sisterhood. Whenever any of our brother or sister officers are killed in any manner, but particularly with this slaughter that happened a few weeks ago its extremely important that we show our solidarity, not only to the citizens but more importantly to the officers family. Dozens of other officers from several south jersey departments left for the funeral. The man responsible for the killings for officers wenjian liu and rafael ramos stated he was seeking vengeance for the policeinvolved shooting of Michael Brown and eric carer. A man escaped injured after he lost control of his car in maple shade. The man flipped the car and landed in a reservoir. He needed to crawl out of the car and was on top of the overturned vehicle. The man was taken to kennedy hospital in cherry hill in stable condition. Police in south jersey are looking for the person who set off an explosive device in a mail box overnight. It happened on sequoia drive in cherry hill around midnight. Police received the call from 911. Fire crews say an explosive device was put in the mail box to blow it up. We have an update on a missing boy in delaware county. He has been found safe and sound. 10yearold Louis Desmond was reported missing around 7 30. He has been found safe this morning, he was sleeping at a friends house. Funeral arrangements are being made tore 21yearold Shane Montgomery. His body was discovered in the Schuylkill River ending an agonizing five week long search. Action news reporter, Kenneth Moten has more. Reporter green ribbons and flyers have been a fixture in manayunk during the search for missing west chester senior Shane Montgomery. He has been found fully clothe in the Schuylkill River saturday before noon. The cell phone on him. His grieving roxborough parents were there. Today we have done what we have promised. We have found and brought shane home. We want to thank everyone for their support and prayers and love and ask they continue to pray for our family at this trying time. Reporter shane disappeared 40 days ago after a night out with friends thanksgiving morning. He was last seen leaving kills dares stumbling across the bridge near the business. Last month divers located his keys in the water. Saturday they found him a half mile away. Ten feet from the banks of the schuylkill behind manayunk Brewing Company. Where he was was about waist deep. Its probably 6 7foot not deep. Just moving current. Loved ones and their pastors and the employees of the Brewing Company watched as divers worked. We set up a watch out back and we became family with his family. We was all out back when they brought shane up it was a sad situation. Reporter the search is over, but the investigation into how shane died is just the beginning. Police sources say there are no obviously signs to his body. Those who followed the search came to the river with so many questions. Where would he have gone, what would he have done, what really happened . Even though this part of the schuylkill had been searched divers say scouring this large river is a tedious process. The medical examiner will conduct a an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Police officers from our area and around the country are paying respects to wenjian liu. David henry joins us with more. Reporter 100 Police Officers left fop headquarters this morning two full buses and a dozen police cars all to pay their final respects to wenjian liu. Its extremely important that we show our solidarity not only to the citizens, but more importantly to the family. Reporter the officers boarded the buses for the trip up the new jersey turnpike to new york. Dozens of new jersey officers did the same departing from belmawr around 7 30. There will be thousands of other Police Officers from around the country to pay their last respects to a fallen comrade. Wenjian liu and rafael ramos were assassinated in their patrol car december 20th. The funeral is being held in brooklyn this morning. Thousands attended a Memorial Service yesterday. Officers from this area has given up a sunday at home with their families to stand in the cold rape for hours. They also its a small sacrifice compared to what the two new york officers and their families have lost. Its effects every one of us. We wanted to make sure we had a great showing of support not only for the new york city Police Department, but for the community and also the family. It represents the brotherhood of police, not only nationally but worldwide. It hurts all of us when one of us is fallen. We just want to go down and pay our respects. Police say the driver lost control and hit a guardrail. The collision caused the vehicle to overturn and land on i95. Officials rescued the female driver from the wreckage and took her to the hospital. I95 north is closed and i495 is closed while Police Investigate the accident. A man escaped serious injury after he lost control of the car on wet roads in camden county. It happened on route 38 near mill road in maple shade. Police say the man flipped the car and landed in a reservoir after he lost control. He managed to crawl out of the car and climb on top of the overturned vehicle. Firefighters used a ladder to help him off the car. The many was taken to kennedy hospital in cherry hill in stable condition. Police in south jersey are looking for the person who set off an explosive device new mail box overnight. It happened on sequoia drive in cherry hill. Police officers received a call about an explosion. A device was put inside the mail box and used to blow it up. Videos from surveillance cameras might have caught the suspect. Divers discovered the missing College Student Shane Montgomery in the Schuylkill River. He was fully clothed with his cell phone still on him. Sources close to the investigation say there appears to be no signs of foul play. He disappeared after a night out with friends and went into the Early Morning hours of thanksgiving day. He was seen leaving kildares public. His body was found about a mile away. He was found where it was waist deep. An autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.
