Reporter good morning, matt, yeah, it was one thing after another, more than 30 residents had to evacuate, the red cross had to open the shelter so they can stay warm and spend the night while work continues to be done on hampton road in bethlehem township. Crews remain on the scene they have been here all night long. I want to go to the picture. This is what crews were dealing with, a ppl truck that toppled into a sinkhole and on top of a gas main. That truck was removed. Crews were initially called to the 1800 block of hampton around 8 00. While crews were there, a sing hole opened up and the utility truck was swallowed on it. Was on top of a four inch natural gas line that caused an evacuation of 300foot raid us in the neighborhood. The driver of the truck was able to get out and not hurt. The gas and water was shut off, while they try to remove the truck from the sinkhole.
