Court records that appear to be the gunmans show he had a long rap sheet with a string of convictions for assault, robbery, drug and weapons offenses, as well as other crimes. Louis postdispatch shows that Michael Brown had marijuana in his system and that he suffered one of nine gunshot wounds while either in or alongside officer Darren Wilsons police suv. Thats important because police have been arguing brown violently fought with wilson inside the vehicle. After wilson told brown and a friend to get out of the street. Browns tissue fragments were found on the exterior surface of the motor vehicle. Its yet another leak in the investigation suggesting a grand jury here looking into the shooting death may end up siding with the police officer. In a statement, browns family says this still doesnt explain why wilson kept firing at their son and killed him even though he was more than 20 feet from his patrol car.
