Reporter police tell us they have arrested two teenaged boys in connection to the abuse of a mentally disabled man. His friends and family tell us that social media helped aid in their investigation. Leave me alone. Reporter a mentally disabled man pleads with a group of teens in newark to stop beating him. But in a video thats difficult to watch, the 26yearold is slammed to the ground. Smacked and shouted out. The video has gone viral on instagram. One of the teens who was in the videos told us he helped file a report. He didnt want to reveal his identity for fear of retaliation. The right thing was to actually call the cops. cause if you pete will beat up a mentally disabled person you should be locked away for good. Reporter his family tells Eyewitness News the video made them speechless. Theres no words to describe what they did. I think that they were bullies to be beating on people like that.
