And Family Member to the victims in that crash says. The 22year old driver remains in the hospital this morning. In critical condition. This is washingtons second run in with the law this year. Leading his fellow councilman to say. Its time for him to council. We reached 33 out to all members of the Richland County council and no other member wanted to comment at this time. The district 10 councilman was arrested last month for not paying his taxes, for which he was sentenced to probation and fined. The Spartanburg County coroner has released toxicology test results that show the driver in a crash that killed four usc upstate students last fall. Was legally drunk. The results show two of the three passengers in the car also had blood alcohol levels above the pointoheight percent legal limit to drive in South Carolina. The coroner delayed releasing the results until he got an opinion from the state Attorney Generals Office about a 2014 state autopsies are medical records. The opinion says the toxicology tests are medical records. But the coroner can talk about them without violating the law. Still to come. Its a win for apple. The Investigation Continues this morning after an officer involved shooting in raleigh, North Carolina. Leaves a man wanted on felony drug charges. Dead. Raleigh police say 29yearold senior officer dc twiddy has duty. As they investigate the incident. Officials say officer twiddy was pursing the suspect on foot when he shot and killed the suspect. There have been chants on no justice. No peace in North Carolinas capital city. Following that shooting. Police have yet to release the name of the suspect. But the supects mother was on the scene and says it was her son, 24yearold akiel denkins, who was shot in the back. She says her son wasnt armed, but police have said a gun was found somewhere near the body. A community is coming together. After a shooting at an ohio high school. Crowds gathered outside of the Madison High School last night. And this morning. Investigators are working to figured out what motivated a 14yearold boy to open fire on his classmates. Four students were injured in that shooting. James hancock is charged with attempted murder, assault, inducing panic and making terroristic threats. Police say he madison juniorsenior high school and started shooting. Two teens were hit by bullets but are not seriously injured. Two other students were injured by flying shrapnel. Apple now has a win and a loss in its legal battle against government efforts to break into locked iphones. A federal judge in new york has ruled that the Justice Department cannot use a 227year old law to force the hightech firm to provide the fbi with access to iphone data in a routine drug case. And the Recovery Efforts dont end there. United way of the midlands is investing 300,000 in rebuilding and repairing homes impacted by the floods. Funds will be distributed to nonprofit organizations and volunteer organizations active in disasters with focused plans on rebuilding the midlands using the request for proposal grants. Grants will be awarded starting again, this is for organizations not individual homeowners. He was an everyday guy, he was goofy, nerdy, loved star wars and comic books and he walked his dogs by day and paid his bills and sometimes cleaned the house and by night he fought crime and saved the world.
