He says since the early 90s there has been some concern about talcum powders you find on the shelves in almost every drugstore. Showed an increased risk and some type of relationship between the use of talc in at powder form and certain forms of Ovarian Cancer. He says women are the most at risk if they use the powders for feminine hygiene reasons and used them for more than 15 or 20 years. There is a possibility that these products may have increased your risk of developing Ovarian Cancer, and you should go get screened. Parents using baby powder on infants, the doctor says theres no reason for you to panic. There certainly has not been any studies that have suggested that use of baby powder on an infant leads to cancer risk down the road for a child.
