How much are we looking at . Ill tell you that bulls eye there, West Virginia and virginia, potentially over 2 feet of snow in some areas. Thats a lot of snow. To put it into perspective for you, you know, if they do end up getting these 2 footplus totals in the Shenandoah Valley in virginia, they would have more snow for the year than Cleveland Hopkins. We only picked up 8. 3 inches at the airport so far this year. All these spots in the midatlantic that typically see much less snow than we do, they by the end of the day into the end of the weekend. Of course, weve got plenty of time, right, to rack up the numbers here at home, and some of you out to the east have seen much more than 8. 3 inches. Thats just out at the airport. I want to show you whose plans are ruined by the weather, though, and that is places like West Virginia, the carolinas, tennessee, up into virginia, maryland it is going to be a big mess there. The 95 corridor heavily impacted by the swath of Winter Weather alerts. Look how far south this goes. All the way down into mississippi and northern louisiana. Those are not areas equipped to deal with wintry weather. Here at home we have no alerts or advisories or anything like that. You start to get into a Winter Weather advice around columbus, and then the winter storm warning taking effect farther to the south. So if youre traveling today, lets say you take the pennsylvania turnpike going down through breezewood or back into back towards West Virginia on 77, these are not areas i would want to travel in. Even farther to the north through southern pennsylvania out towards philadelphia, thats just much too dangerous, especially later today and into tomorrow. Now, a little bit closer to home, we wont have any issues like that. Its just cloudy. We have a few flurries especially around Cuyahoga County and towards lorain county, but no big snow in the forecast for the weekend.
