And at riverside methodist, two remain in fair condition. The hospitals wont tell us if they are students, faculty or just passer byes in the neighborhood at the time of this incident. Now lets talk about what we do know about the dead suspect. The f. B. I. Is zeroing in on Abdul Razak Ali artan who was a somali refugee. He spent seven years in a refugee camp in pakistan with six family members. Arta m ohio. That was in 2014. He first attended Community College in columbus where he graduated on the deans list. Then, he enrolled here at the Ohio State University majoring in Logistics Management and the business school. Now, this august, artan was interviewed by the campus newspaper, the lantern. He complained about what he believed was the medias negative portrail of muslims and in that article, this is exactly part of what he said. I wanted to pray in open he was scared with everything going on in the media. People look at me, a muslim, praying. I dont know what they are going to think. What is going to happen. Now then theres a statement that a lot of people find disturbing. That was allegedly posted on his Facebook Page and that Statement Reads in part i am sick and tired of seeing my fellow muslim brothers and sisters being killed and tortured everywhere.
