As for some of the other closures we have huron from ontario up to prospect. That will be bolivar will be closed from 9th to 14th. Carnegie will be closed from 9th to 14th for parking. East 9th from carnegie up toward superior. So we have lots of closures here in terms of parking. If you park in any of these spots, you will be towed away. And we arent just talking about the world series here. We are also talking about cavs opening night. That banner being raised and those rings being passed out. So many extra parking spots those people are going to want. Im really suggesting that if you can, take the r. T. A. They have extra trains available. Its going to be available after the game, too. For sports f northeast ohio i have felt good about this season all the way along. This years world series is a milestone. This is the greatest week possibly in the history of cleveland sports. We are now a regular sports town where you win a title once in a while. Jeff knows first hand the misery that has haunted the local fan base for over a half century. He says the cavaliers winning an nba title its over. Its over. The cavaliers are nba champions nightmare has ended. Reporter and ending a 52yearold championship drought helped change the attitude of the town. This city is going through a sports renaissance. Its a little different, isnt it. Folks in town are getting used to to the idea that this town can win some things. The last time they won the world series was in 1948. 16 years later, the browns won the nfl championship but what followed was one of the longest droughts in professional sports history. Samantha one of the colder World Series Games ever played was in 1979. The Pittsburgh Pirates played the Baltimore Orioles in temperatures in the 40s. In 2008, the philadelphia phillys and Tampa Bay Rays played a intery mix. The philadelphia area got seven inches of snow and the game postponed after six i wore special new hats with built in ear flaps. But the coldest World Series Game ever played was played right here in 1997. Game four between the indians and the florida marlins. The temperature was 35 at game time and the windchill was 18 degrees. Yeah, that was an interesting they have been talking about it pretty much all day. The m. L. B. Actually does not have guys this is crazy temperature thresholds. Like they will pretty much play in whatever until we get to the extreme. So, the good news is, world series weather for game one looks pretty good. I dont have any major concerns. Brian i would rather have frozen snow than the rain. I think its better.
