And ty lue spoke with us and he joked the president will have time now on his hands so he could always join the staff with his basketball knowledge. Good times here. Were also told the first privately and had an excellent conversation. There are also reports that mrs. Obama showed the soon to be first lady around the white houses private quarters. Thousands of antitrump demonstrators marched through the night carrying banners and disrupting traffic in nearly 40 cities across the nation, including new york. And some are still protesting today. The people united. I think we saw a crowd actually being disruptive. Reporter on the west coast, protestors set fires and faced off with police. In los angeles, hundreds ran on to interstate 101 temporarily shutting it down. Trump has tapped into something very deep and dark and evil in our country. Reporter up to 10,000 people packed the streets of mid town, manhattan, holding antitrump signs and blocking traffic. About 65 people were arrested near trump tower, mostly for disorderly conduct. And while there were some calls for unity. I think we have a new president and we should all unify and rally around president trump. Reporter they were drowned out by frustration and fury. Shock as a memorial grows outside the Police Department. One shot dead, another wounded while responding to a domestic call. Michael quicklinski killed his gun on himself. Law enforcement consoled each other and others outside the hospital where a 7 year veteran died from his injuries. He was a father of four. Weve lost a friend, a comrade and our hearts and sympathy go out to the family. Loss of words. Sadness. The judge today made it very clear that she felt the former pepper pike Police OfficerJeffery Martin abused his power as a Police Officer to take sense of safety and security from his victim. The special prosecutor argued this was not an isolated incident that martin stalked and followed the victim for almost nine months, including following her to the Police Department as she made her complaint. In court martin tried to apologize. Is this your understanding of the offer . It is, your honor. Time to apologize for my actions. Have information that he had he shared with another person the person that he was consecutive to each other. The court finds the pieces of the conduct.
