But first, were turning to the drug epidemic right here in cuyahoga. Examiner has reported there has been 7 fatal overdoses here in this county. Ems workers try to revive a man who overdosed on heroine. This scene becoming more prevalent as the becomes common in cuyahoga. This is a lot of folks dieing in a short period of time. Last month, cuyahoga saw its first deadliest month with 52 people dieing because of drug overdosing. The medical examiner is issuing a warning. Of people in the city of cleveland and it effects all ages. Anchor and the medical examiner says that these deaths dont appear to be related but still under investigation. Reporter thank you, shanise. And today Charlotte North Carolina pd after killing Keith Lamont Scott after they refused to drop a gun. Dash cam videos show the Police Officers telling scott to drop a gun. Keith eventually gets out of the gun and his wife says he does not have a gun. And then shots are fired. Camera appears to show keith lamont getting out of his car but the video cannot show a gun. Test results scotts dna and police on the weapon. Officers were on the scene to arrest someone else but got involved with scott when they noticed him with marijuana and the facts. Dont shoot him. Dont shoot him. He has no weapon. Family members are pleased that the footage was not released but are not satisfied. Were left with far more questions than answers. Its not clear to us how this incident resulted in loss of in a state of unrest as a curfew goes on at midnight. And rain could be on the way, right back. The victim was found in a car and the victims girlfriend was arrested. In the head five times and police are still looking for that suspect.
