On wednesday night in the gym at the rec center, the 17yearold convicted felon ashley smith who was serving a fiveyear sentence for complicity to aggravated murder was taking a zumba class. In 2012 she was convicted along with four adults in planning and carrying out the murder of her 61yearold stepfather allen brown in marion, ohio. Cleveland 19 news wants to know with two guards watching her, how did she escape . Ashley was in the rec center in a zumba class and she took off running. The two guard that were supposed to watch her took off after her and she got away. She vanished. Smith was captured at a mcdonalds in marion. Locked up teenage criminals taking z mu ba at a city rec center. City officials have not got back to us, but did some digging. Smith was serving her sentence in cleveland. They brought smith to the zumba class. She earned the privilege through an Incentive Program at apple wood. They are aware of what apple wood is doing.
