M trying to contact my wife and tell her i love her and that im okay. But were under attack. And so the gentleman beside me, i asked him to call the police. And he did and he got through to them and he told them we were in the restroom and there was three of us. Within minutes of us being there i guess it was four or five minutes, they came and they attempted to open the restroom door but they couldnt move the closed. With your feet. Yeah. You were frozen . One of my coworkers was outside that restroom within from her to myself and she took two or three rounds. And so we could see the injuries on her. I c could feel my little bit of bleeding. Some pepper marks all over my body. And we said, you know, weve shes ambulatory so we sent her on her way. Patrick helped many workers wounded. He saw a woman who was shot who he helped survive. Thousands of people who gathered for this public vigil to honor the victims, the 14 people who many of the people said they didnt know any of the victims. They just wanted to come and show their support. The mayor was there is along with many officials and the mayor told the crd, the eyes of the world are now on us because of this mass shooting and we refuse to let it cripple us, reena and kendis. Folks in San Bernardino have been keeping us updated throughout this entire thing and they held a late night News Conference last night. What did the investigators reveal . Reporter r they he one pretty late last night. Governor jererry brownctually y made an appearance and said that he belelieves th the state of calirnia is working together best as possible, and he still says we still have to be on our guard. I thought that was an interesting point that he made. When it came to the investigators, they revealed nearly all of the victims were, in fact, county employees here it was a county training event with the department of public health. But still most of them appear to have been targeted, county employees, the people who went county workers, a couple of them, worked at a cfee house here. So that is so unfortunate. Then of course, we heard from one of the First Responders for the very first time. One othe first officers on the screen describing the heart break and carnage. He was even shaking. Having to look into the faces of all these victims, see the fear and unfortunately, bypass so many of the wounded because their first goal was to try and find that shooter. Luckily more officers came on scene and he said he was able to let those officers go after the gunmen if they were still at the scene so he could help those who were wounded.
