During his 95 mintue speech in rt dodge last night, donald trump went off about how carson, with a story like that in his book, could be getting so much support. It will start off rather mild next week, but will end rather cold in fact, we are looking at the possibility of snow next weekend im just sayin theres a chance, but stayed tuned to barbara and stanley slovinsky of were part of a unique kidney transplant Exchange Last this year, they got a chance to meet the husband and wife on the other side of that swap. And it was an emotional encounter. A year after these two couples underwent kidney surgeries, they finally got a chance to meet. Here at Lehigh Valley hospital in allentown. We were excited to see them, very anxious because of what weve all been through as well as what it meant the last time they were together, the normans and slovinskys were on operating tables, unconscious and unaware of each other. Monica norman of bucks county donated her kidney to stanley slovinsky of jermyn. His wife, Barbara Slovinsky gave her kidney to mark norman. It kind of was a nice relief to finally see the people that i imagined. I was always imagining how well stanley, my recipient was doing so it was nice to see him walking in and looking good. Made me feel good. Mark norman and stanley slovinsky had damaged kidneys due to hypertension also known as high blood pressure. Norman was on a transplant list for 6 months and slovinsky for nearly 3 years when they each got calls. Barbara slovinsky was a match for her husband. But chose to donate her kidney to mark norman, a man she didnt even know because he didnt have another match. In turn, mark normans wife, monica was a match for stanley slovinsky. I mean if i had just donated to him, he would have won but by splitting the donation by pairing it, four now we go hopefully to old age together. On december 10, 2014 all four went into operating rooms here. It was the first transplant swap of its kind at Lehigh Valley hospital, its called a compatible share. Theres not enough kidneys to go around and then someone shared one they didnt even have to share and because she donated then we have four people here who benefited. The slovinskys and normans say they know their situation was a bit unusual, but it worked, it was a success and they want other people to know that and to consider that if they can possibly help others. These poor people went through the same thing we did, you know . And all the feelings that go through. Shes part of me now and barb is part of mark so its a fantastic feeling. The normans and slovinskys say they are all doing wel. Tomorrow, mark norman is heading out of state for a hunting trip. Its been an annual tradition hes had to miss for a few years quick break.
