Officers are hoping that with 3 arrests this morning, that they might have put a dent in what they believe to be was a very big problem with smash and grabs here in Central Florida. They are hoping that an alert Police Officer put an end to it early this morning. Officer was in an unmarked car and saw a vehicle that was speeding off. A little suspicious. Lo and behold when the officer stopped them and asked them to get out of the vehicle he had glass on his lap. Like all over him . All over them. 3 people that were in the car and 3 of them all had glass on them. We had another officer check at the hotel and 10 vehicles were just burglarized. Police arrested 18 year old Raymond Rhoads and craig blunt jr. And their 17 year old buddy quinton montgomery. Charging them all with burglary. Now this morning when those 3 suspects were speeding out of the park being lot before getting pulled over by investigators, police say that there was another car that was speeding out of the same park being lot at the same time. At this point in time it is unclear if the people in that other car were connected to this crime spree. However, investigators do tell us that the 3 suspects that they have arrested have been cooperative and hoping to answer more tomorrow.
