Bob and sonni theres a large crowd at sebastian inlet, this is the area a mother whale and her calf have been out here for several hours now. Fish and whiled life has set up a perimeter around them with four boats observing there whales from the sky. Were going to talk to lenny now from fish and wild life. This morning and we got our fwc biologist out here, sea world biologist and we are trying to keep 500yard just for safety reasons and not to harass them. This whale is known to the community. Well, its the first time its been in an inlet. Its very rare that you have a qhail come into an inlet, especially a mama and its calf. Scientists and researchers know this whale by clipper. Yes, clipper. The last known sightings was up in Port Canaveral area and its worked its way south and for some unknown reason it decided to come into sebastian inlet. So is there any hope that the tides this evening might help the whale and the calf get out of here . Yeah, right now you know to make it clear that theyre not stranded. Theyre very healthy whales. The mama and the calf are very healthy. Were just waiting on nature with their instinct would naturally take them back out to the ocean, out to sea. Were going to continue to wash this.
