The orlando woman acquitted of she started a new business and a new life. Apparently in west palm beach. Fox 35, weve obtained the paperwork. This is the night anthony left prison. The paperwork that Casey Anthony filed with the state when she incorporated her business, case photography, llc. She listed the business address as a house in west palm beach, the same address as the private investigator that anthony used during her trial. Anthony told investigators a babysitter had kidnap her daughter back in 2008. After caly was reported missing that july, 2 yearold calys body, of course, was found later on that year. Casey anthony acquitted of her murder in 2011. Tonight, Orlando Police are telling fox 35 the deadly weekend shooting at glitz ultralounge was not a random act of violence. Two were killed and nine others injured during that shooting early sunday morning at the club nearly 300 people were inside the club when all the chaos broke out. Police are now busy questioning people about the shooting. The names of the victims not yet been released. Detectives are not going to give out details, but they do say they do have some suspects. Orange county deputies are asking for help from anyone who saw or heard a double shooting that killed two men. Friday, deputies found 20 yearold andrew garland and 19 yearold samuel destin. New tonight at 11 00, a major lawsuit facing Monster Energy. The Energy Drink Maker facing five suits. Fox 35s holly has the story. In a News Conference this afternoon, three attorneys from morgan and morgan announced theyve filed the first five of more than 100 lawsuits against energy drink companies. Our first five cases we filed today are specifically against monster. Energy drink Company Based out of river side, california. The lawsuit claims that monster did not warn their customers about the potential effects of consuming too much caffeine. Each 16 ounce can of Monster Energy has 160 milligrams of caffeine. Monster doesnt disagree with the amount of caffeine, but they say more than 14 billion Monster Energy drinks have been sold and safely consumed worldwide for more than 13 years. Who range in age from 17 to 43 who regularly drink monster have come forward, saying their Energy Drinks made them seriously ill. The injuries were seeing at this point involves both chronic and acute problems. They are heart attacks, strokes, afib. It also involves something that is new that we havent seen before, hasnt been pursued before, is kidney failure and renal failure in general. That lawsuit alleges that Monster Energy drinks are marketed as product that provide alleged benefits to consumers in stamina, weight loss and performance. This particular lawsuit was filed on behalf of joel ryan a 43 yearold who was drinking 5 to 6 cans of Monster Energy a day for five years. He was out with his friends and started to have symptoms where he was noticeably under duress. There was something noticeably wrong, and it was found that he was having a stroke at that a stroke that last left lasting effects. Mr. Ryan has suffered from impairments to his vision, now walks with a limp. His speech has been significantly slurred, all things you dont expect from an otherwise normal, healthy, 43 yearold at the time when this occurred. Attorney says monster does not give consumers full disclosure of how much caffeine is really in every can. Its not just the caffeine. Its what monster and the other competitors in that industry call a proprietary blind. Its items that we believe havent been adequately tested and when you look at all of these combined, it creates a potentially lethal outcome for normal consumers. Monster beverage questioned whether the plaintiff had any preexisting health condition. Monster also claims that food and drug agencies around the world have found no safety concerns with the combinations of the ingredients in Energy Drinks. Has yet to identify any safety stud ies that call into question the safety of various combinations added to Energy Drinks under intended conditions of use. In 2013, health canada, canadas fda counterpart, found there to be no immediate safety concerns with respect to caffeinated Energy Drinks. In 2015, the European Food safety authority, europes fda counterpart again confirmed the safety of caffeine in combination with other ingredients commonly found in Energy Drinks. Monster says the case has no merritt and they will vigorously defend their product. These attorneys want monetary relief for their clients and they want the energy drink giants to warn their customers of potential dangers of drinking large amounts of caffeine. This is not a common sight. Very unusual. This is the first time ive ever seen one come into an inlet. Murehabilitation abolishes say the mother whale a healthy and this is her first calf. They know this whale as clipper. Clipped. How it was clipped, we dont know, but it is a marked whale that they do follow. There.
