Germany is expected to take in 800,000 by the end of the year. The United States has given over 4 billion to help with the congress. Peter king says the refugees we allow into our country must be properly screened. We have an obligation to humanity, but our main obligation is to our own people. Prosecutors say a 35yearold shot his partner and their two children last week before setting their house on fire and killing himself. The services for all four will be in long branch. Dr. Walter palmer plans to reopen his practice tomorrow. He says the backlash has taken a toll. Reporter Walter Palmer has been remaining out of the public eye after he killed the beloved lion named cecil. In an interview with the Associated Press in the minneapolis star tribune, he says he believes he acted legally and he was stunned to find out his Hunting Party had killed one of zimbabwes treasured animals. He said if i had known this lion had a name and was important to the country or a study, i wouldnt have taken it. Cecil was fitted with a gps collar as part of lion research. After palmer was named in late july as the hunter who killed cecil, animal activists protested outside his bloomington, minnesota, clinic and his home, a Vacation Property in florida was vandalized. Palmer has been targeted in social media and some posts even suggest violence against him. He described himself as heartbroken for causing disruptions for the staff at his dental clinic. Palmer said this has been difficult on his wife and adult daughter. He said, quote, theyve been threatened in social media and, again, i dont understand that level of humanity to come after people not involved at all. Palmer said he feels safe enough to return to work and that, quote, my staff and my patients support me and they want me back. Palmer was asked if he ever plans to return to zimbabwe. If you think about what Rudy Giuliani did as mayor, homelessness went up 40 percent on his watch. You dont know if thats safe to vape when youre inhaling those toxic substances. Alison for people who dont know how they work, a kid is going to vape marijuana. What are they doing . Its not rolling up a joint with pot. Exactly. Theres the device and theres the drug. The device, theres no smoke in it. Youre vaporizing the substance and inhaling that. So, you know, it has some of the same Health Effects like the drug, but it doesnt have the risk factors that the tobacco would have. Its a little different, but we dont know the longterm Health Effects of using the substance. Those with the marijuana and whatever else is mixed in for the kids. The one thing is in the study, this was done as a survey. Basically you dont know for sure if it was answered accurately. It was only done of kids that are in five schools in connecticut. That may not be representative of kids across the country. Steve where in connecticut . I went to college with lots of kids. Lets talk about this. You may soon see a drugfree label on meat products. This is something a lot of people are paying more and more attention to. What goes into your meats and antibiotics and all that stuff. Whats the new one . This is a chemical thats in the category beta aganis before. It can help with breathing and speed up your heart rate. Thats not why meat producers are using it. Theyre using it to create more muscle mass basically in the animals. That can help them in terms of saving costs. You get more meat for your money. Its used in a lot of the meats we eat now. Theres some estimates its 60 to 80 percent of the meat. For us alison thats a lot. The fda said its safe for humans, but in other countries they dont agree. In the European Union or russia and china, theyve banned the import of these products. This is a big issue. Steve i find that horrifying when theyre banning stuff and were allowing it in. Russia and china yeah. Its a big impact here. We actually are manufacturers our manufacturers make more money selling these products to the countries. They want labels that say its free or made without it. They havent been allowed to use the labels here until now. Part of that has to do with false advertising or misleading advertising. This is a controversy that if the fda says this chemical is safe safe, why should labels say its free . If youre walking down the aisle in the supermarket and you see that, any chemical madup, e maid de up, you have to stay away from that. Alison get the chemicals out.
