The National Safety council is reminding residents never operate a generator irs from windows and ventsnd doors as well. Governor mccrory is urging residents to be smart while crews continue to clean up after the hurricane. I just ask the people to be patient and safe and cant ask for anymore. We do not want to lose anymore people. Thats ourgoal. Number one goal. Be sure to turn generators off and let them cool down before refueling. Gasoline spilled on hot engine parts could cause a fire. This morning there is a lot of talk after last nights dark and bitter battle on the president ial debate stage. With less than a month to go the stakes could not be higher for either candite. Awkward, uncomfortable, and at times hard to of what, last nights debate certainly was the question this morning will donald trump continue to face the fallout from his own party and will it matter to voters. Right from the start things seemed heated. Trump and clinton choose not to shake hands at the beginning of the bate and it didnt take long for the fireworks to go off. If i win, i am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situations. He owes the president an apology. For 90 minutes both candidates took questions from voters in the hall and online, but it was trump who faced the biggest test first having to answer for these vulgar comments caught on tape. The audio recorded back in 2005 rocked his campaign all weekend. And i was embarrassed by it, and i have tremendous respect former president bill clion as an abuser of women. Clinton once again apologized about the email scandal thats plagued her campaign. Perhaps the most pleasant moment of the debate came at thvery end last night when trump complimented Hillary Clintons work ethics. When asked the same question about what she admires about donald trump clinton says she admires his family, if trail today, Hillary Clinton makes stops in ohio and michigan and donald trump will make tw stops in pennsylvania. Initially after a big storm adult mosquitoes including those that carry the zika virus get washed away by all the heavy rain. Plus, heavrains and flooding also wash away larva from as tires birdbaths and flowerpots. That could also have a beneficial effect on zika transmission, and more good news, this time of year is typically when mosquito populations begin to diminish. To date there have been 141 locally transmitted cases of zika reported in florida since the end of july. All right, back to the forecast, heres Kristin Ketchell witre.
