In the meantime, they gather forensics. It helps create a timeline of what happened. Most Police Officers pay a retainer for an attorney. That person then talks with the officer. They go over what happened from his perspective. They then decide whether to make a statement. Theyll ask him about the state law regarding deadly use of force and what it means in relation to his duties. Under that state law, there are circumstances that allows an officer to use deadly force. Escape by force of a Deadly Weapon or serious injury to others. Three, to stop a person by escaping being held as a convicted felon. They have provided him with an attorney. Hes been in touch with twittey since the shooting. They dont expect him to face any charges. We believe that the facts represented will be justified. The officer was acting in self defense. We support our officer 100 . He called on the police and the spi to be transparent. They call attention to a broader issue. One being poverty as well as unemployment.
