I get married and have a baby. There is a theory about what happens in the middle east. And the theory is that there was a status quo and the status quo got broken and now we are in a period of chaos. I tell it firsthand. And i love the people that i meet and sometimes i hate the people that i meet. Years in the middle east. On the one hand the dynamic of what is going on in the region. The other hand there is this job you do that i consider to be of a first responder. With the team and i go around and i dont respond to stories. I think that is what a lot of people think that i do, that im sitting here in new york in a suit and the phone rings and i get on the plane and go. We live in the region. I have lived in the middle east for 20 years. We are always there. We are always meeting people, discussing the stories, meeting the contacts. You understand the context of things. That was something that i thought a lot about when i lost my freedom, when i thought i was going to die. I thought i love my career. I love my job and im still doing it, but it is important to have some sort of balance. It is almost like people who get a terrible illness and are lucky enough to recover how they can have that spirit of life where food tastes better and the drink tastes a little cooler. The reason why we will pull up the answer. Its on the screen here. The ofs. The two ofs are the smallest words of the sentence. We tend to not see the smallest words in a sentence because we are so quick to look at the full meaning. I didnt count any. Thats why most people get four. It is six. Your brain is conditioned to ignore small words. You look at the meaning as quickly as possible and you decide what it says. To show you how we do that all the time i will pull up a sentence with scrambled words and you will be able to read what it says. Read that out loud. Similarly your mind is reading this automatically without you thinking about it. Completely scrambled letters yet you can extrapolate the meaning. You guys are doing great. This is really fun. Now, you know how they say once you learn to ride a bike you never forget. This is a special bike where we flipped the gears. When you veer left it goes right. When you veer right it goes left. Why would you build a bike like that . To show you how you have mental maps and created a neurconnection of how to ride a bike but a simple switch will become much more difficult to do so.
