This is trumps tenth visit to New Hampshire since the primary, his second in four days. With those events today, there will be added security in both manchester and durham, as well as portsmouth, when air force one flies in and out of pease. State police is working with the secret service, and say some roads may be closed. Problematic for some drivers, but they are asking people to be patient. Erin a man accused of shooting two people in manchester over the weekend is due in court today. 22yearold Michael Sirois of chester is scheduled to be arraigned on charges including firstdegree assault with a deadly weapon. Early saturday morning, police say sirois was at a home on flag he thought was offensive. Officers say sirois and another man, 21yearold jason gerry, started physically fighting with one of the people at the home, when sirois allegedly shot the man, as well as a woman who was there. The man was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. At last check, he was in stable but critical condition. The woman was shot in the leg and has since been released from the hospital. Sirois is being held on 100,000 cash bail, pending his arraignment later today. And gerry was charged with seconddegree assault in connection with the fight. Hes also due in court today. Sean we could learn new details today about a stabbing in campton. Police say a man was stabbed friday night on carla court. He was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be nonlifethreatening injuries. Police say the suspect was also injured, and was taken to the hospital. Erin the investigation began last week, after a missing woman was found chained inside a metal container on todd kohlepps property. Authorities say she was kept there for two months. The body of her boyfriend was one of three bodies also found at the site. Police say kohlhepp confessed to gunning down four people at a motorcycle shop back in 2003. Sean an investigation is underway this morning into a freak accident at a pumpkin chunkin contest in delaware. State police say a 39yearold launch pumpkins suddenly exploded. Cases of a drugresistant fungal infection. Health Officials Say 13 people have become ill from candida or cauris. The sometimesfatal infection has a high likelihood of causing outbreaks in healthcare facilities. Seven u. S. About 1800 people participated in five different races, but the big race was the marathon itself, with 575 registered runners. The overall winner was dan vassallo of peabody, massachusetts, in a time of 2 23 59. Brandon newbould of nottingham was the top New Hampshire finisher. Female. She was 19th overall. And the top New Hampshire female was Julia Huffman of manchester. She was 34th overall. Very fast runners. Another person who took part in the marathon was our very own kevin skarupa.
