Look at temperatures we got to yesterday. 66 in manchester. 69 in nashua. Ive got to tell you, i know some of you didnt get in on the concord and laconia didnt. It was all dependent on the clouds. If you didnt break out of the clouds, the temperatures werent as warm. If you did, it was amazing. Temperatures in the 30s and will continue to climb. More in the forecast coming up. Stephanie thanks. Were following a developing story out of hollis. A fire broke out displacing a family. No one was home when the first started. One end of the house was badly damaged by the flames. Firefighters are still investigating. They say the fire appears to have started around a chimney. A man was forced out of his home on Christmas Eve after a tree crashed in to his house. The tree fell damaging the house. The home owner was downstairs at the time and was not hurt. Theres no apparent reason why the tree uprooted other than the recent rain. In vermont, a Historic Stone hut likely a total loss after of flame after a fire. Yesterday morning. They had to use a chair lift and site. It was built in the 1930s near the top of the tallest peak. Overnight use. It is not clear if anyone was in the hut at the time of the fire. New hampshires highest u. N. H. Professor. They fired Marco Dorfsman for changing evaluations of a student member. They say they should not have let him two. The arbitrator exceeded its authority and the college was in right to fire him. A corrections officer reported hearing a gunshot that they reported seeing a white man and dark pants from the area. After three hours, no suspects were found. This is the cream cheese salsa dip that i made up. S the ingredients for it or over here. It is really basic and easy. It is a brick of cream cheese, about half or this much salsa, i throw in some extra jam mean jalopenos, and thats one i made up. It smells really good after a ski day. It is space si and spicy and warm. I really like the staceys chips with them. This is a curry crab meat dip my mother used to make. It is simple as well. Just a can of the drained crab meat, another brick of cream cheese, you can choose to use i dont like it as much. Hayley it is christmas. You can get away with it. Then a tablespoon of curry. And my third and favorite one is the smoked blue fish patte. Grab that and show that. This is another two or three basic ingredients. Cream cheese, i take the skin off of the back of the smoked blue fish. I get it at sauders. I got to portsmouth it is premade. Excuse me. Merry christmas. Merry christmas, jamie. Hayley hey, jamie. Were taking a live look at concord. You see the Christmas Tree there lit up. It is 32. Certainly a lot warmer than its been on christmases in years past. Well get a check on the forecast after the top stories. A sandown woman whose 9yearold this year is now facing animal cruelty charges. Human remains discovered in goshen are those from a missing mother in connecticut. And a developing story out of hollis. They are trying to figure out what sparked a late night fire that displaced a family on Christmas Eve. As we were saying, it doesnt feel a lot like christmas outside. In fact, when i was driving in this morning, it was very, very foggy. I think rue rudolph came in handy. Hayley my whole family went outside in the afternoon. No one was home when the fire started around 11 00. One end of the house was badly damaged. The rest of the home sustained heavy smoke damage. They were able to save the Kids Christmas presents. Firefighters say it appears to have started around a chimney. A sandown woman who lost her son unexpectedly has now been charged with animal cruelty. He said she was devastated. First her son and now her animals. Despite the charges, she feels shes innocent. I feel it is a dishonor to my son considering we worked so hard every day to make sure they had everything they needed. Reporter despite what she says, shes charged with five misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty. More than three dozen animals, including horses, goats, and llamas were taken. Her son collapsed as he walked to a neighbors house to deliver cookies. The animal control officer had visited her patrol and voiced concerns. She feels she always acted appropriately. Any time claire would say an animal needed a vet visit, i would have at the vet out. I have a stack like this of she built the appropriate structures and had found homes for those she couldnt care for and was in the process of changing one horses diet when this all came about. There were only two animals that had issues in the complaints. Every other animal was in great condition. No, i dont feel as though i was in over my head. I willfully signed them over because i was frightened. Reporter sandown policed helped the police get all of the animals. They are now settling in but has little to say about their condition. Some of the animals look thin. Im going to wait for the vet report. Reporter shes confident her name will be cleared. If taking an animal in because nobody wants it and can take care of it so that you can of it is animal cruelty, i dont know what the world has come to. Reporter we did stop by the Animal Shelter but nobody opened the door. Stephanie thank you. Police haverhill, massachusetts say a report was a baby being thrown from the bridge was a hoax. A woman and her daughter reported that a man had thrown the baby from a bridge. After lengthy questioning, they determined they were lying. Theres no word yet on my possible charges. Vermont state Police Say Human remains found in the town of goshen are those of a connecticut woman who has been missing since january. Denise hart is being investigated as a homicide. He was last seen leaving on january 25th. Her car was found on fire the next day. They are hoping the public can help them determine exactly what happened to hart. That was traveling through the goshen area where these were found in the last year or so if they ever saw anything suspicious or anything that they think we should know about being this is the location we found these, we would appreciate a phone call. Stephanie authorities are not revealing the mothers cause of death. The u. S. Marshals office arrested another fugitive. Angela kulacz was taken in to custody. Authorities say she was on probation after being convicted of being an accomplice to armed robbery. A fire that broke out yesterday may be suspicious.
