Josh a claremont man charged with Sexual Assault was arrested as he left dartmouth hitchcock hospital in lebanon. Investigators have not released detalls of the investigation, but they say honldon faces four charges related to Sexual Assault. And tonight new details about the owen labrie case. Court documents just filed prepare a new argument seeking to bolster his claims that his trial. Jennifer crompton explains. Reporter labrie is a peeling his convictions, new court paperwork highlighting several reasons he believes he was poorly represented at trial, among them that his attorney should have challenged a felony computer charge. The former st. Paul student was found guilty in 2015 of three misdemeanor Sexual Assault charges and of a felony charge for using a computer to lure in his 15yearold victim. The felony led to a to register as a sex offender. In court paperwork just filed, labrie claims j. W. Carney jr. Failed to investigate the origins of the email communication forming the basis of the felony computer charge. The paperwork reveals that labries current counsel interviewed an Information Technology employee at st. Pauls school about student to student email communication. And claims that emails between server physically located at the school. And never left the st. Pauls School Internet server and thus mr. Labrie did not utilize a computer online service, Internet Service or local bulletin bore service as is required by state statute. Meaning those emails were on a network that was internal to the campus only. The paperwork also claims carney mishandled witnesses or testimony pretrial. Gobain Performance Plastics company unveiled a plan to connect homes in litchfield to a Public Water System. After concerns about high levels more. Shelley no specific date yet, but work on this Water Project is expected to begin pretty soon. A total of 360 homes in litchfield will be connected to the pennachuck water system. If winter doesnt interfere, 173 homes are expected to be finishedded by the end of the year, and the rest completed in to 17. Homes will receive point of use filters until they are connected to the public water syste made by st. Gobain Performance Plastics. The company agreed to fund an Engineering Design to expand the existing Public Water System in rich field. This after it was discovered that homes. Then the tide will do the rest to move it off the bearing sometime between 6 00 and 7 00 tonight. That piece of the bridge will then be floated to the state peer around 8 00. The center span removal will make way for the new 158 millio kittery, maine. And on any given day there are about 100 to 150 people working on this project. All we need to do is increase the cap on the amount of income that you withhold for Social Security. So that we can do, and we can make it sustainable indefinitely. Its not difficult and its something that congress should do right away. Medicare we need to control our health care costs. A little more challenging, but about opiate medication and pain management, we can do much better, and we need to make fixes to medicare like the one where we were giving had this perverse incentive to physicians to increase access to opiate medication. Thats going to drive up the cost, but it also creates addiction and Substance Abuse disorder that is very expensive to our society. Entitlement reform is vital to us. We know now that Social Security is nothing. Our future generations are going to be counting on, that so it vital for us to do one thing first and foremost and thats to face the funding for Social Security. It should have been done a long time ago. But before we look at modifying anything, we need to make sure that that funning is preserved so that it can help sustain the future of Social Security. Court documents show burgoyne has financial and child custody issues, was suffering from ptsd, and went to the hospital three times the morning of the crash, but was never evaluated. The prosecution says those five Second Degree murder charges are appropriate. Was traveling at a rate of speed for that first crash at when he struck the volkswagen jetta. To go five miles in the wrong way, at night, at a high rate of speed, certainly exhibits an extree indifference to the value of human life. Thats why we brought the Second Degree murder charge. Jennifer the defense requestedded a competency hearing that was granted by the judge. Hes being held without bail pebbling the results of that evaluation. Jean a man faces several charges after police say he led them on a chase through the queen city. Police tried to stop him after he ran a red light near union street, but officers say he sped up and at one point began driving the wrong way narrowly missing a pedestrian. Researchers say only 10 of victims report their abuse and only 61 of residents polled say they knew the law requires them to report abuse. Report. So not for current recipients on Social Security, but for future generations youve got to change the date by which youre going to receive it, probably something tied to how long youre going to live. Medicare is a little different. What id like to do there is make sure that those who require opportunity to get full access to medicare. Those who have probably better financial situations should probably get a personal of that dollar amount to go purchase their own medicare options. That would create a self sustain ability for the long term for medicare. For Social Security we need to raise the cap. People who are earning over 118,000 do not have to pay Social Security taxes, and more money. Its simply not fair that people in lower incomes have to pay full on theirs and others dont so thats one way. Always talked about being more efficient, going after waste and fraud, thats important as well. But raising the cap for Social Security would go a long way. Then for medicare, what we need to do for medicare is, like i said, negotiate the price of prescription drugs, we need to institute more oversight and thats were not paying attention to the billing. But these programs must be there for older people who rely on them and paid into them and have earned them, and also for the Younger Generation because the Younger Generation will need that insurance that it offers if they have a longterm disability or death in the family, and day need that for retirement also. Her challenger governor Maggie Hassan sponsored New Hampshires original regional green house net metering bill that doubled the cap on the amount of solar energy that certain generators can sell back to the grid. Incumbent Second District annie kuster supported president obamas Clean Power Plan and she voted for a bill to reduce fossil fuel Energy Research and development by 285 million. Her challenger, former state rep jim lawrence, opposedded the states participation in rent i, saying if hes in congress he would support it. Power plan, quote, an unconstitutional executive maneuver that would raise electricity costs. Guinta favoredded the keystone xl pipeline project. His opponent, sheaporter wants to get rid of subsidies for oil companies, she cosponsored a 2007 bill which became law requiring the first increase in fuel economy standards in more than 30 years. Colin van ostern is a twoterm pass project due to concerns about transmission towers, he has supported Renewable Energy projects like turbines and solar arrays. Republican chris sununu voted against numerous Renewable Energy contracts as a councilor, sununu has been supportive of the Northern Pass project saying it is unrealistic to expect the spire line to be buried.
