The ags office says there will be a thorough investigation into what happened here. Crime scene investigators arrived on congress street in claremont early sunday morning, following a 911 call and confrontation with police. Unfortunately one person was killed and we provided that individuals name beyond that we cant provide too much office says 25yearold cody lafont was killed. Right now they are not commenting on what led up to the shooting. Like every other case there is an extensive investigation that just started. Reporter none of the responding offers were hurt. An autopsy will be conducted on monday morning to determine lafonts exact cause and manner of death. Meantime, neighbors are looking for answers, dale giles lives a for answers.
