Josh police in guilford are trying to figure out who backed a car into an atm outside the bank of New Hampshire to try to from outside a laconia church. Police say the man may have been walking shortly after 8 00 on gilford avenue towards laconia , so if you saw him call police. This comes after mutliple drivers were arrested over the past few days, traveling in the wrong direction on New Hampshire ira s highways. Wmur s Suzanne Roantree has more on stepped up patrols during this busy Holiday Party season. Suzanne state police say they stopped 22yearold Chelsea Cormier of windham at about 1 00 a. M. Thursday morning after they got a report of a wrong way driver on the everett turnpike by exit 13. They say cormier drove 16 miles in the wrong direction before she stopped. That vehicle continued lanes, traveling through the bedford toll, traveling up 293 to the hooksett toll plaza. Hours of saturday Morning Police say 26yearold sean list was northbound lanes on i89 for nearly 8 miles. He was finally stopped by exit 2. On sunday morning, Police Arrested 22yearold andy marzara after they say he drove southbound in the northbound lanes between windham and exit 2 on i93. The common theme with all the wrong way drivers, of course this is extremely dangerous behavior, and the underlying factor that links them all that in the end, someone is being arrested for impaired driving. Suzanne and it s not just incidents involving wrong way drivers. On sunday night a 5 car crash snarled the everett turnpike through nashua, and again police say the person responsible was driving under the influence. Police say after setting the gas on fire, kane fled setting off a search that included the state police helicopter.
