She insisted on bringing down the Confederate Flag and just ended that controversy for good and then after Hurricane Matthew hit, she was also a very strong presence in the state. And trump thinks she can make a deal and he thinks thats a good deal for the u. N. Ambassador, of course, her Foreign Policy experience is pretty nil, but i think that that job is one of speaking for the president and she can probabl president , as well. So u. N. Ambassador, education secretary, as well. Trump nominating the first two women to his administration. Does that do anything to ease concerns many have about trumps attitude towards women . Probably not. But it would have been a lot worse if it were all white men which is what it was looking like at the beginning. So it does help at least in that regard but, look, the proof is if he starts doing things that make women nervous about their rights, then that will be the issue, not a couple of women showing up in the cabinet. But its a lot better than just going with straight, you know, old white men which is where we were. And quickly we know he may also be adding ben carson to that list, as well. Investigators say a cigarette tossed into a trash can sparked a fire inside an apartment on elm street, above cesarios pizza. Seconds before the video that youre about to see two men bumped into each other while crossing the treat but then the incident between in Plainclothes Police officer and pedestrian ends in criminal charges and some are saying the end result is more about policing and racial tensions in this country. You are going to get in trouble. Reporter a vigorous debate this morning surrounding this video about how two men bumping into each other while crossing the street escalated to this. Can you get your hands off me . Youre supposed to say excuse me when you cross the creek. Reporter this 21yearold said he was walking across the street after leaving work last month when he looked down at a text message. Ended up bumping shoulders with another man who he insists didnt say excuse me. I turn back and say some cute stuff, you have before you just walk through people like that and he didnt like that at all. Reached out for my sweater, began to call. Reporter the Police Officer Sergeant Thomas ahearn alleges hodge made eye contact with him and intentionally walked into him. In a Police Report ahearn wrote, i walked up to him in an attempt to deescalate the situation and identified myself as a Police Officer. He says hodge replied with expletives and continued to mapdzs were clenched into fists which i interprettied as a preassault cue. Now hodge faces charges for Disorderly Conduct and assault and battery. Stop. Dont reach into his pocket. Do you have a warrant to search him . Reporter the woman seen here grabbing at the officers arm is now charged with assault and battery on a Police Officer. She and another woman who videotaped the incident also face charges of interfering with a Police Officer. Cambridge Police Department released this statement saying the officers actions were consistent with his dut obligations. That assault and Battery Charge carries as much as 2 1 2 years behind bars, all three defendants are due in court december 21st. It seemed like there was a lot of overreaction here perhaps on both sides but now taxpayer dollars have to take it to court. Plays into so much stress and tension between communities and police right now. And especially with black men and police and how its being viewed in america. All right, linsey, thank you. Well, as the cold weather humidifiers, now is a good time to remind you what can happen if you dont regularly clean yours according to the manufacturer instructions. Reporter the steam from a humidifier seen as a way to prevent sore throats and dry sinuses but could that steam really be spreading germs that could make you sick . Most people dont know how to clean ew. How gross. I dont know how to clean a humidifier. Its not the most easy thing to clean. I know im not reaching all the tiny corners. Reporter gma investigates collecting ten humidifiers from philadelphia area families to test for bacteria and mold. Almost all admit they dont clean their humidifiers regularly. Some have asthma and allergies. I dont know what youll find humidifiers from six differ manufacturers at the lab at Thomas Jefferson University Home and this doctor testing water from inside the humidifiers water tank and the vapor it emits. Out of the ten humidifiers, all had bacteria in the tank. Two had heavy bacteria growing inside and also in the vapor that our experts say could make our family sick. I was surprised by the heavy growth and a few of the devices that you tested. Reporter a i humidifiers, mold. How are you . Ready to see what was growing in there . Oh, gross. Reporter they found some bacteria but more importantly they found mold in the vapor which means the mold was going out. Thats not good. Especially since we have asthma in our house and allergies. Reporter mold in this familys humidifier, as well. Ooh. Mold can cause nasal congestion, sore throat. If they have asthma it can cause chest tightness or wheezing. Reporter now for the humidifier with the most bacteria. And here are the results right here. Our experts labeling it extremely dirty and they say whats inside could cause pneumonia. Kind of looked like maybe a swamp. This is what was growing inside your humidifier. Oh, gosh nurse you know what that mean. It means my kids are not safe which is very concerning. Reporter bottom line, experts say you need to clean a humidifier every day emptying and rinsing the base and letting it air dry before refilling and every week you should clean it thoroughly according to the manufacturers instructions. And i remember during the vietnam war it was war at thanksgiving tables, but think about it. I mean, thanksgiving is little cousin susie coming home and announcing she is now esmeralda and she is vegan and wants to be only referred to as esmeralda from here on out or great aunt dolly saying shes leaving her husband of 70 years because she ran into her high school with so much more than politics, its just its just always true. After five rounds of ivf, three pregnant cyst and three miscarriages, they decided to try something else. We had just the amount left in our savings that would cover an adoption. Firefighters rescued two people from a burning Apartment Building in manchester last night. Investigators say a cigarette tossed into a trash can sparked the fire on elm street. If you dont have enough space, take anything that doesnt need to be in the oven out like the stuffing that you can make on your stovetop. Otherwise cook your turkey on the stovetop. This takes 40 mi roll it, tie up, tie it up. Goes into 1 0 degree olive oil and like a deep frying way. Poaching. 180 degrees so doesnt absorb as much fat. If you cook something in fat you know its not going to be dry. For sure. You end up with this. Nice. Amazing. Thats beautiful. Like im never going to do that. Good job. Like that, very, very easy, thanksgiving you have a lot of bread laying around, turn night a Bread Pudding. This crock pot is set at 4 1 2 hours on high. Well put our bread in. We have some dry cranberry, raisins and another raisin lover. Pumpkin puree, a little cream, a little egg, a little love. How long before 4 1 2 hours. Takes a little bit of preplanning. Anything in a crock pot. Easy. All right, dan, you got your sides coming up next. Anything in a crock pot, ive long said that. Amanda, clair has this question, i love mashed potatoes for thanksgiving but hate having to peel. A recipe where i dont have to. I dont like to peel potatoes either so i cook them skin on, right, yeah. Skin on, s skin, i use yukon gold because the skin is much more tender. I use sour cream in my potatoes. Yum. Scallion and maybe a little cheddar cheese. I love that. Its thanksgiving. Why not. Yeah, i mean i love that you just got applause for saying the words cheddar cheese. Phenomenal. And thats it and theyre ready to go. Dont even bother peeling. That means rocco and we have hanna with a question in the audience. Is there any ingredient to add to my gravy to punch it up . Yes, of course. So im all about Health Except for my turkey today but ill make up for it in the gravy. For mine i like to use a little wild turkey, pardon the pun. Pardon the pun. Wow. But then to really punch it up and give you a little bit of nutrition i take my protein powder and thicken it slurry and protein gravy. I like that. As an athlete you can appreciate that. Is that chocolate flavored . I want to know that the wild turkey got a bigger applause than the cheddar cheese. Both. Rocco, thank you. I want to talk about a transition from food to something else. When you were younger what did you imagine you would do for work . I wanted to be a Police Officer. For lourdes it was an unforgettable conversation. I felt more connected to him. I felt like i learned more about him and i saw him differently. Reporter its a conversation she looks forward to having this year with her grandmother, an immigrant from colombia. Authorities say a 60yearold man was killed early yesterday morning. They say the victim, todd downing, was found inside his atwell hill road home, suffering from blunt force injuries. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. While no arrests have been made in this case, Authorities Say they do not believe that the public is at risk. Firefighters were able to rescue two people from a burning Apartment Building in manchester last night. Investigators say a cigarette tossed into a trash can sparked a fire inside an apartment on elm street, above cesarios pizza. Dispatchers stayed on the phone with people who were trapped, until firefighters pulled them to safety. And sprinklers helped contain the flames. However, there is water damage to both cesarios pizza and the element lounge. Outside we go.
