>> apparently the man that lived at this house broke up with this woman, vicky black, and in an alleged attempt to get back at him, she tried to poison his beloved dog beau. >> don't take it out on the dog. deal with your relationship issues, but don't take it out on the innocent dog. right where it hurts. a man's best friend, his dog. >> and the dog will eat anything. that's what makes me nervous. the dog did eat the rat poisoned baa lowny. reports say the owner did notice something wrong with the dog and immediately made it throw up. that could be what saved his life. vicky knew there were cameras at the house. that's why she parked a little further away. that's why she's hard to see on the video. she was trying to avoid being caught on camera. but she didn't succeed. vicky black was charged with extreme animal cruelty, which is a felony. she's already bonded out. >> i can see why he broke up with her. well, how's this for a commute? pun intended. the subways overflowing with water. check these out. this one from one train. you almost need a rain jacket just to get on the subway. on a platform on 34th street, you can see something is overflowing there. water shoot all over the place. >> there's not a fountain? how long were the delays? >> the trains can go through. the tracks aren't flooded, just the areas around the tracks. they weren't heavily delayed. here's another platform where you see another overflowing geyser type thing. as this camera pans to the right, you see rain drops underground. you don't see that every day. last but not least, more of the same from a bryant park platform. you see water just making its way down to the train. >> you know what? this could be kind of fun. you have to make lemonade out of your lemons. it's like a water park ride. >> but when you're trying to get home at the end of the day, you already have to deal with a packed subway. the last thing you want to deal with is water being dumped on your head when you're getting on the car. the passenger on yard tram 3035 in melbourne, australia, did not like the ride they got this night. >> he reading a comic book? the lab coat. >> it makes it feel like some doctors got together and figured out how to do this scientifically. recently released surveillance video shows an alleged assault at tanner's bar in anover, minnesota. you see a guy stand up and sort of confront another guy from the table on the right. eventually that man stands up and watch what happens next. oh. dropped that guy with one punch. then you see the guy who did the punching walks away, leaves the scene. here's the thing. the guy that did the punching, 47-year-old david clifford. he's a minneapolis s.w.a.t. team executive officer who was off-duty. are you kidding? there's a lot more to the story. the guy he punched, 42-year-old ryan vanderlee. his head bounces off the cement. he suffered severe brain injury. he had to have two brain surgeries very soon after this event. has already had a third surgery. he's recovering at home. he was at one point on life support because of this. according to clifford, vanderlee was being loud and using offensive language while talking with his friends and family. that's why he stood up, went over, had the confrontation, and punched the guy. of course, attorneys from both sides are arguing about the video. >> now is it a question of, did clifford act many self-defense or was he the aggressor? >> they're saying vanderlee made the first most. he was also very, very intoxicated and acting unruly. the video just came out. it was actually released by clifford's lawyer, the alleged assaulter's lawyer, because he wants to prove his client's innocence through this video. he is facing first-degree assault. >> it scares you that somebody with that kind of temper is on a force. just a nice, quiet day in a little community in north yorkshire, england. this is a lovely little populated neighborhood. but listen, something is going on. >> oh, no! that is a bunch of cows. >> stampede! >> it's a cattle stampede! >> what is going on here?
