>> reporter: good morning. the mark tracker system is not updating online but all the trains are on time. 65 at wilkins avenue on the southwest side. right now we have steady traffic building in both directions. inner lap on the left. we have a tractor trailer accident that's been there for some time. northbound past york road. stay to the left if you can. madison avenue, at north avenue. the search for a missing maryland woman has been called off. investigators have no new leads. we are learning more about the man accused in that disappearance of 35-year-old robyn gardner. she went missing while vacation not guilty aruba. gary giardano says he and gardner were snorkeling when she was swept away by a current. >> the woman, who did not wan to be identified, says he had erratic mood swings, and at times, became violent. >> he had a very nice side of him. but he was erratic. he was a little violent. like one time i happened to touch his hair by accident. he yanked my arm really hard. gardner's family says giardano was almost too calm. she says he didn't seem sorrowful at all. and authorities are now doubtful the couple was snorkeling at all. news from around the nation a memphis school principal is killed at her school and a 17-year-old student is in custody as the prime suspect. >> the body of the woman was discovered wednesday morning by a teacher at the public school. right now they don't know how the woman died or why she was killed. she had been a principal with the school for three years. the hunt for three fugitive siblings is over this morning. the two men and one woman are in custody. they were wanted for crimes in florida and in georgia, but arrested in colorado. they are accused of shooting at a police car during a chase in florida and robbing a bank in georgia. their mother had urged themselves to give themselves up before bloodshed happened. they had been a target of a nationwide manhunt for more than a week now. the statue of liberty will undergo a $27 million project and renovations that will cause it to close for a year. the updates will make the interior safer and more accessible for patrons. sergeant chris wiseman had just returned from a third tour of duty from afghanistan when he walked from the dugout onto the field at the game friday. surprising his twin daughters. not quite the running of the bulls, but in one pacific northwest state, pretty darn close. we are going to have the latest on that. also, casey anthony topping the list of a poll no one ever wants to be on. what distinction she has earned, when we return. you are watching good morning maryland. back in a bit. ♪ [ female announcer ] everybody loves that cushiony feeling. uh oh. i gotta go.
