neighbors and friends of 68-year old beverly moore went back to the street one week after she was hit by a car. they hope the crowd will draw attention to catch the driver and get cars to slow down. >> if every single one of you does one thing to try to get speed humps, a light, something that we have here behind our homes, i think it of justify the purpose that we're here for >>reporter: her friends and families have witnessed several skents right here. police say moore was outside to have crosswalk when a car stopped to let her go. a ford 500 that looks like this one then passed that car, hit moore, and kept going. her best friend says walking to the grocery store was not her normal routine. >> she hadn't salined her car off that day and evidently, she just wanted to get out a little bit and decided to take a walk >>reporter: a few days later, food and her receipt were still there. now a sign draws attention to the incident. moore lived alone after her husband died in 2009. they had no children but she had love for kids in the neighborhood. >> one time i fell off my bike and she told me to slow down. she was joyful to be around >>reporter: she also loved animals and they hope her caring spirit will drive someone to help find who killed sgler can anybody -- >> somebody without a heart, a conscience. i don't know how they could live with themselves >>reporter: and police asked that mechanicings in the area think about the cars they've worked on and if there was a white ford 500 with front end damage to call 866-47lockup. anyone with information would be eligible for a $2,000 reward. friends and neighbors gathered $500 hoping it will entice someone with a tip to come forward. in the past 48 hours, we've lost seven people in traffic accidents. one was brian. by day a custodian and by night chasing break news and posting it on facebook. last night hundreds came out after learning the 32-year old was killed. a viewing will be held this friday from county police were able to pull his body out of a well a few days after a tip came into the authorities. it was found in the 11,000 block of old ford road behind an unoccupied home. the autopsy shows it was a homicide long line of cars and truks collided, one right after another this morning on a dark florida highway. so shrouded in haze and smoke that drivers were blinded. they could only listen
