them enough to go to police. it's when they realized their friend identified only as a 24- year-old hartford county teacher was well and had faked cancer for two years. >> she was saying she needed help with rent and flights to areas to get treatment. >> reporter: back to january 2010 when a police report said the unnamed suspect started telling people that she had cancer. overtime she went as far to say it was stage 4, had spread to her lungs and she had a 15% chance of survival. >> they had done several fund- raisers for her to help pay for things and they are saying they raised $10,000. >> reporter: the victims say they met the suspect at baker field elementary school in aberdeen. she went to such extremes as putting a feeding tube in. their families gave her cash and frequent flyer miles, organized fundraisers and their kids asked to pray. the story came down when her parents were thrown off by being invited to a holiday benefit. she admitted to faking the disease. they were for giving when the suspect said she had a mental problem but then pictures showing her partying popped up on facebook and that is when one victim went to police. >> charges will depend on what the detectives determine. >> reporter: we will not name the suspect unless she is charged. the victims say the kids in the classrooms suffered too. they keep asking when she will return. we can't didn't hear back from the school. if you have more information for investigator you are asked to contact the crime investigations unit. cheryl connor. >> what a story. all right. >> five former catholic school buildings will be turned over for other institutions to use as schools. today they gave the okay to rent them out. they say they picked the buildings where new education facilities won't threaten existing schools. 24 have been sold or leased. we will take you to the website, our website, you will see the list, the complete list of all the biologies, it's in the education section for you. we first told you at six about i 4th grade grader who created a hit list. tonight we hear from worried parents. administrators found the list and the school we are talking about is about a half hour south of annapolis. pamela brown visited the school, she has more. >> reporter: gin ger got a startling phone call from the school. the school where her sons attend. >> i was like are you kidding? family. she has more for us. >> reporter: ben starts his story telling the world about the heart condition he was born with, hcm. a heart muscle disease most couldn't tell he had. even when it showed. >> he was crossing the street at school and just dropped in the middle of the street from his heart condition and he was helped up and he just kept going and they laughed about it and he didn't take it -- he went with it. >> reporter: doctors didn't expect him to live past his early teens. the 18-year-old had a pace maker put in two years ago that gave him more energy, helped regulate his heart and stretched his limits letting him spend more time on the lake, travel through alaska with his grandparents and start making youtube videos. there were science his conditions were getting worse. >> he just was getting more tired and less able to do what he wanted to do. >> reporter: about a week before his death around the time he made this video his parents knew he was ready to go. >> he talked to us in person about being considered by that and having experienced the peace of god and not being afraid of his heart condition or of passing away. that we wouldn't be scared or sad and that we would have the same peace that he felt. knew we are just remembering the world joy the gave to us. >> reporter: today ben was laid to rest. his family said they will miss him and know his story will live on because of the video he posted on youtube. let's look at news around the nation. its been ten year its since the tragedies of september 11th and its been four months since since the memorial, already it's reached the major milestone. one million visitors from 120 different shields. next year the museum will be open completing the memorial. a wal-mart customer in one town made a shocking, possibly dangerous find in a shopping bag. a syringe. at least ten have been found in the barto county store. they have also been found in nightgowns and in the pocket of a shirt. at least four say hagerstown and that's that sharp cut off. tomorrow the boundary will push north. we will be up near 50. 52 essex. it'll be a mildler day. tonight still a chance for a few hit or miss snow showers or flurries. mainly around the pennsylvania line. as we go through the wider perspective -- snow wrap around it. kicking out to the north and east. it'll affect states to the north and -- another system that will dive and bring us the chance for rain showers. here is that sharp cut off. mild air knocking on the air in virginia and again you will feel the difference of that warm air pushing the big chill out tomorrow and again just reflecting how much mild air is out there. this is what we are looking for. low to mid50s. some of this through the first day of 2012. the temperatures will head down next week. future trend showing basically increased clouds, late in the day and a chance for some rain showers, if those survive through the mountains to make it in late tomorrow night. we are dry and clear on saturday. that's looking like a great new year's eve and i think things will stay nice. a if you flurries, tomorrow 52 will be the two degree guarantee. tomorrow night couple of rain showers,
