Developing overnight, the week long manhunt for a former lapd officer believed to be responsible for killing four people appears to be over. Charley has latest information. What he new in the search for Christopher Dorner. Do they know if he was in the burning home. We dont have a positive id of a body found in the cabben but the Associated Press is reporting and confirming a body was found in the cabin in Big Bear Lake 100 miles east of los angeles. It was the site of a lengthy shootout and stand off between police and the man believed to be a former Police Officer and Navy ServicemanChristopher Dorner. Hes been on the run for the past week and is believed to have killed four people. Since the manhunt started last wednesday, investigators were at a loss for knowing exactly where he was and there was growing concern with the help of an accomplice he may have fled to mexico. But in the afternoon tuesday, a man matching his description stole a truck and holed up in a cabin. The shootout followed where a deputy was followed and another injured and then the stand off. Police reported hearing one gunshot as they tried to get dorner to give himself up and the cabin went up in flames. We believe that someone was inside and is still inside even though the building burned. That was Cindy Bachman with the San Bernardino police department. They believe someone was in there and that has been confirmed there was a body found in the cabin. There was an officer killed in a shootout and dorner is believed to have killed the daughter of a l. A. Police officer her fiancee and another Police Officer bringing the total to four. He declared his war on police after being fired for filing a false Police Report and claimed that was the result of racism and he was doing this to do what he says was right the wrongs and clear his name. Today, the riverside Police Officer believed to have been killed by Christopher Dorner will be laid to rest. Officer Michael Crain was killed last week while he was on duty more than 7,000 people are expected to be at his Services Including california governor jerry brown. Dorn aer is charged with his murder as of right now. Dorner is charged with his murder right now. Its where officers are taught to shoot but a Police Officer is shot during a Training Exercise and linda so is live at shock trauma with an update on the officer. Do we know how he is doing this morning . Reporter we are told the officer is in grave condition and underwent surgery last night after he was shot in the forehead during the Training Exercise. Baltimore City Police Commissioner has suspend all Training Operations until an investigation is completech the Training Officer was shot by a Baltimore CityPolice Instructor during that Training Exercise in owings mills yesterday afternoon. The commissioner would not say why live rounds were being used during the session. The injured officer works for the university of maryland as a campus Police Officer. He was in his 40s and this was his first police job he started back in july. The commissioner says all Training Operations will be suspended until he gets answers. For me, its unacceptable. Reporter the officer underwent surgery last night and the chief surgeon says he is in stable but very grave condition. The family is asking that his name not be released.
