raising $3 million in the last four months with a total of nearly 7 million in the can what. republican challenger robert you are lick has not disclosed how much money he has. the announcement could be made tomorrow or friday. baltimore city mayor stephanie rawlins blake is thanking local corporations for keeping city pools off open for the rest of the summer. the pools were scheduled to shut down sunday but grant capitol management t. row price and unnamed source have donated more than $400,000 to keep pools open through labor day. the mayor responded to the city council president jack young's plea to reserve funds to keep the pals open for the rest of the summer. >> i think it's unfortunate that we are having that conversation again with the council president. we were able to maintain our bond rating in a significant and historic fiscal crisis because we were responsible with the rainy day fund, as well as responsible with our budget. >> so far pals at cherry hill terrorist bombing will undergo her 1th surgery at johns hopkins. a family friend said the surgery will be on her shattered right leg. emily returned from south africa friday she had been undergoing treatment there since mid july. emily's grandmother who was also hurt in the attack is back home in pennsylvania. well, he was the eat and run bandit now he's got 18 months to slow him down. prosecutors say that 44-year- old andrew palmer may have ripped off dozens of local restaurants after refuse paying for meals using a creative way to get out of the tab. roosevelt leftwich joins us with the latest. >> reporter: prosecutors say palmer was charged in 3 casey but he may have ripped off dozens of restaurants. he prideed himself as a bit of an actor by acting sick. >> at least he likes good food. on april 26th andrew palmer went into burke's restaurant got a bunch of buffalo wings and pounded down 9 blue moons on draft. when the time came the pay up he got violently ill. >> he said he would be back to pay for it. he went to use the restroom and he faked a seizure. other personnel came up said he was having a seizure. and then we called the police. i didn't figure it was real. >> reporter: burke's was the first he proceeded to eat and seizure at ding how restaurant fells point on may 11th after forging himself on 40 bucks worth of chinese food. he did it next time in chuckers restaurant after scarfing down a pound of shrivel. two bottles of beer scotch and topped it all off with a heineken. he had gone through this one too many times and the cops and hospital pleaded guilty to theft and theft scheme for ripping off burke's and three other restaurants. normally the sentence is about 90 days, but by recognizing the pattern he got a stiffer sentence of 18 this stunt because many places don't report this type of thing to police, and for a local restaurant losing a tab even though it's under a hundred bucks is a problem. >> the servers make their money on gratuities. >> reporter: prosecutors say even though the bill was less than a hundred bucks there were other costs if you add in police responsibility paramedics doctors nurses they all lost time and money taking care of someone who really didn't need it. roosevelt leftwich abc 2 news. buffalo city police went sky high on their latest marijuana bust. this is video that we're going to show you from police chopper foxtrot. the aviation unit says they spotted this pot garden from the sky on routine patrols near lincoln park. they scouted it out for nearly a month but eventually had to go in
