We have some breaking news on that hostage situation in alabama that weve been following for several days now. The abc station near midland, alabama said the standoff ended within the last two hours and the 5yearold boy who had been held hostage in a bunker was safe. There were two loud bangs heard from the home of jimmy lee dykes. He had been holding the boy hostage for several days after grabbing him off a school bus and shooting the bus driver last week. The coroner said dikes is dead dykes is dead but the boy is safe. Now to the investigation of a navy seal killed by a man he was trying to mentor. Officials are still trying to piece together what led up to the shooting. Reporter 25yearold marine Eddie Ray Routh was charged with murder in the death of chris kyle.
