car ride home, his wife found a receipt for condoms. the fight got heated in the driveway of their home when she claims johnson head butted her. police reports show she hid at a neighbor's house and called for help. later treated and taken to the hospital. >> she had quite a laceration on her forehead. described to me as being 2 to 3 inches in length. her face was covered in blood, dry blood, and, wet blood. >> reporter: johnson says it is not true and told detectives they accidentally bumped heads. the cup was scene on season premiere of hard knocks on hbo followed the dolphins through training camp. miami hoped the dancing with the stars alum would grab headlines for plays on the field and not like this. plus police say johnson knew this incident would put him on thin ice with the team. >> he was using expletives, to describe what he felt that he didn't care. he didn't care about his career. obviously he understood the impact that his actions would cause on his career. and he just didn't care. >> reporter: the case has been turned over to the state attorney's office who will decide if there is enough evidence to charge johnson. but at this point a judge did decide he will really dark, really, really fast. the more that i looked at the dust storm the more i realized this thing is massively huge. >> reporter: trapped inside a huge cloud, breathing can be difficult. dust can choke visibility to zero. highways come to a halt. the fast moving wall of dust and debris can be miles long and thousands of feet high. here its how it forms. when a thunderstorm or many thunderstorms begin to die out and collapse, rain cooled air rushes to the ground. that momentum kicks up sand and dust and sends it rolling. it may seem like you have seen more of these storms recently. and one of the reasons is excessive heat. now phoenix has the and will see today record numbers. in the way of high temperatures. that all is fuel for the thunderstorms that cause the dust >> reporter: down the road in highpoint, an even bigger crowd. >> our founders made it really explicit -- our rights come from nature and god and not from government. >> reporter: romney's wife ann seemed to be caught up in the excitement. jumping on stage to talk to the crowd for the first time in over a month. >> we are not going to take it anymore. we are taking the white house back. >> ryan's wife janna came on stage too but decided not to take the mike. after wisconsin, the ryan/romney show will split up. as romney heads to florida. and ryan to iowa. with two candidates, a chance to cover twice as much ground. ♪ jonathan karl, abc news, high point, north carolina. >> president obama, welcomed ryan to the race. during a fund raiser in chicago. at the mention of ryan's name, the crowd began to boo. president obama cut them off and said ryan is a decent family man. the president said he is an articulate spokesman for mr. romney's vision but mr. obama does not agree fundamentally with the vision and the president attacked ryan's economic plan. >> they have tried to sell us this trickle-down fairy dust before and guess what it did not work. >> the president and paul ryan are both campaigning today in iowa. mitt romney campaigns today in florida where there are so many electoral votes at stake. our campaign coverage continues this morning with abc news political analyst cokie roberts on what ryan brings to the gop ticket. >> reporter: mitt romney's choice of paul ryan as his runningmate has certainly made conservatives enthusiastic about this ticket. they had been very lukewarm about mitt romney, not thinking that he was really one of them, but they truly believe that paul ryan is one of them. and they are out in force endorsing this ticket now. now, of course, what makes conservatives happy, makes some liberals very unhappy. and, or makes them happy because they think that maybe they will win now. and it's very touchy for independent voters. of course those voters in the middle, that you need to win an election. and we'll just have to see whether paul ryan's optimism, his, his smile, his sense of being a happy warrior, appeals to those independents or whether the details of his budget turns them off and sends them into the obama camp. i'm cokie roberts, abc news, in washington. >> our thanks to cokie. i think for the conservative base they're just thrilled that -- yeah, democrats love this pick as well. thrilled that he stepped out on the edge and didn't play it safe. he could have gone with tim pawlenty or rob portman, had credentials. not saying that paul ryan doesn't. he has credentials. he is not the safe pick necessarily. >> a lot of conservatives think who better to speak about the ryan budget than ryan himself the guy who authored it. a solid pick. a pick about ideas. and it does make democrats happy too, because nay have a basically, they have the book on this guy and how they want to attack him and how they want to portray him. >> right. they can attack it too. mitt romney says at the end of the day. i have my budget plan. that's what we are going to use, what we are going to cull from. >> the romney budget. >> whether or not you like it or not. people appreciate the fact that he had a plan. you might not like it. but at least he had the, chutzpah to say here it is. i am going to step out. you don't have to like it. there is not a lot of politicians in washington right now that are willing to do that. put their neck out on the line. >> certainly a man of chutzpah, no doubt about it. >> what was that? >> a medical alert out this morning about potential behavior problems linking preschoolers and snoring. researchers in cincinnati say that children who frequently snore at age 2 and 3 could be at risk as they grow up. they say snoring kids, they're more likely to be from lower income families, exposed to second-hand smoke and not breast-fed long term. doctors recommend screening preschoolers who snore to prevent behavioral issues later on. i remember dr. richard besser, a story about snoring and preschoolers. and there are also other ramifications. if your kid snores like mine, just have them looked at by the pediatrician. i am long overdue to take my son. >> does he wake you up? >> just trying to look for what is going to be a peak moment, sort of set a stage for them and hope that it, you press the button at the right time. >> reporter: but it is not luck. each iconic shot takes thousands of clicks. an army of photographers, greg captured that famous photo, gabby flying to gold. she catapulted so high he felt he didn't get her in the frame. >> i was afraid maybe i cropped her off at the top. she launched so much higher than i was expecting. >> reporter: there are tricks of the trade. multiple exposure photos that take us through the moment. the underwater cameras set by photographers in scuba gear. this one took the photographer three days to perfect. others are over in a split second. that was taken by jimmy wixtrom, he got the perfect angle for this shot while standing on a portable toilet. >> when usain bolt is on the track, all the security and everything are looking at you, and seeing that i was climbing up. i would have the fire here. the finish here. >> reporter: later, usain bolt grabbed jimmy's camera and turned it on the cameramen. there is jimmy right there. >> reporter: is usain bolt a good photographer?
