We were fortunate, must be said, though, the winds have caused these trees to be blown down. It is not because we had any severe thunderstorms or tornadoes or anything like that, forfitly the thunderstorms did not produce Severe Weather fortunately the thunderstorms did not produce Severe Weather till they were gone, however we cant say that for our neighbors in eastern North Carolina and virginia where they have seen quite a few tornadoes and have been at least two people who have been killed by the tornadoes. For us the front came through, produced gusty winds, winds gusting at times earlier today up to 53 Miles Per Hour but it is going to stay windy. We will continue to see winds gusting to 30 to 35 Miles Per Hour tonight. It will be windy tomorrow. It will be turning cooler tonight. We will see a low temperature tonight of 42 degrees. After the floods news 19s Sonia Gutierrez was out checking out the bad Road Conditions that people were worried about emergency vehicles not being able to get through to their houses in the vent they needed them. The county has come out to fix the proceeds and now created another problem. What they are neurproblem is what you can do if you find yourself in a similar situation. Reporter thats right. Through, that residents parked out of the block. They went out to lay rocks that fixed that problem but now the water is piling on to peoples yards. Residents blame the fact there is no drainage system and they are just trying to stay on top of it all. There were 400 county owned roads that were damaged by the floods and only 100 have gotten fixed. Not like we are sitting on our hands and not doing anything. We are working as fast as we can. We are having to keep in find financially we have other services we have to provide as well and we are going out and making temporary repairs to help address immediate needs.
