Police say an exterminator somehow entered her apartment and attacked the woman. Joel brown is live at Mission Capital crossing apartments on dansey drive with reaction. Joel . Police telling us august here at this massive apartment complex. The womans attacker was on duty spraying for bugs inside apartments. And now he is charged with 2nd degree rape. Heres the man Raleigh Police peg as the exterminator turned rapist at raleighs Mission Capital crossing apartments. 41year old kameron chamblee of louisburg. It frightens me, because i think somebody shouldve said something. We shared the news with chamblees arrest warrant. He was taken into custody wednesday. But the alleged Sexual Assault occured august 19th. Police say chamblee was on duty, doing pest control at the complex. They say he somehow either forcibly or with a key. Entered a 50year old womans apartment who he did not know and raped her. Residents here shocked at the crime. Angry they werent told. Thats horrible, this is someone that has trust cause they give these guys keys to the apartments to get in and anything could happen. Residents here say pest control ive typically made a phone call. So im aware that theyre coming and they typically identify themselves. They knock on the door . They knock on the door and they say who they are and you peep out the peep hole and you look.
