Com is reporting that the features and the district, theyre going to meet were here on the 24th, so thats next week, but if you remember, the teachers gave that deadline to strike of september 1st. So thats only a few days for them to get all of this together. Thats because thats the day the federal negotiator was available. Lets get you an overall picture. The results of a national study. According to the wall street journal, teachers are making 17 less weekly workers with a similar education. That was last year. Cleveland city schools, well, theyre saying that the teachers teachers are saying that their Sticking Point is all about how theyre being evaluated. Theyre being evaluated based on student test scores. Both sides, i though, theyre pretty though, theyre pretty confident they can come up with an agreement. The question is when will that cleveland teachers say they will strike if they have to. Coming up in the next half hour, lynna, were going to let you know the last time teachers actually walked out of the classrooms in cleveland, the last time they took to that picket line. Well see. Deputies are still searching for one of two escaped inmates. The Summit CountySheriffs Office says 26yearold jason shockly is shockley is still escaping. Shockley has been on the run since friday. Police are asking for your help to try and find a shooter who killed a man at a loraine drivethrough. Theyre offering 15,000 for robert nesack. He was killed at taco bell on overland avenue. Sheriff Kyle Overmeyer was arrested on charges, 38 are felonies. It includes tampering with records to obtain a dangerous drug. This comes from local complaints of local police chief. They say he was asking strangely at Prescription Drug disposal drop boxes. Overmeyer deceived pharmacists to get pain medication. The city of cleveland sues the state of ohio to keep its law requiring local hiring for projects. The city made sure 20 of workers were local residents. Led to 34 million in pay for clevelanders in the last three years, but a new state law that goes into effect next week pans the city from making such requirements. A Cuyahoga County judge was asked to stop the new law. West nile virus has been detected. Brooklyn, has come back positive for the virus. Its important to protect yourself.
