Remember, just over a week ago he started in toronto and didnt last long because he was bleeding from a cut on his pinkie finger on his pitching hand. And he only pitched two outs in the first inning. And they have restitched the finger and they feel its tighter and will stay in place. There are times that he could throw a no hitter, hes that good. Other times he could get knocked out in the first inning and not because hes bleeding from his pinkie finger. The indians are at the ready. Lets go to roberto perez. A little bit of controversy as he get set for the game two and its over the logo. Metro Health Medical center has asked employees not to wear the logo on their recent spirit day. We go live now to monica robins. Reporter metro health said no employee would get in trouble for wearing wahoo, but some may find the logo offensive. They did not tell any of their employees to refrain from wearing wahoo but this is far from the last time we hear about this issue. Metro Health Medical center encouraged employees to wear spirit gear. Respect our pride respectively. Please refrain from wearing chief wahoo branded apparel. Some considered that to mean that wahoo was banned. That wasnt the case. Our culture is to respectful and inclusive. We havent banned anything. And asking this of our employees, metro he being true to core values which include respect, inclusion, and diversity. Its been the logo of the Cleveland Indians for decades, and long protested by native americans. But the world series run has put a brighter spotlight on chief wahoo. During an interview with espns mike and mike radio show, the to meet with larry dolan about the logo after the season. The team chose to support chief wahoo during the games, and many fans feel hes cleveland tradition and should remain part of the culture. Others strongly disagree. I asked some people on social media what they thought about having an employer ask workers not to wear the logo. The majority of people on social media are opposed that but several made compelling arguments why the logo should be retired. No doubt like i said well be hearing a lot about the issue, especially after the world series when the commissioner meets with dolan. Well have to wait and see what comes of that meeting. After receiving a special gift from the indians, she has something to smile and about. It was Labor Day Weekend in 2015 when macy was first admitted to the hospital for excessive bruising later diagnosed with aplastic anemia. She did not have a bone marrow mask. Reporter thats when prayer kicked in. A mask came in to the worldwide database for her. From a man in germany. And she was able to get a bone marrow transplant. Macy is now suffering from complications after receiving her transplant back in april. Do you think youre strong . [ laughter ] she is.
