the dawn kendrick is at the mall. reporter it happens outside the macys store at the parking lot of the Great Northern mall. a woman reported being robbed at gunpoint. take a look at this video here. it can prove to be valuable. these are the two men that North Olmsted police are looking for, two suspects who tried to use the victims credit card at a store in cleveland, this was shortly after the robbery. they got away with her purse and car keys and this is the car that police say the two were in when they robbed her and then took off from the Great Northern mall. it is a silver gray ford focus, ohio license plate fzc9510. the place listed as stolen but to a different stolen vehicle. these are the two men police are looking for who they believe robbed a woman at gunpoint here at Great Northern mall in North Olmsted. that woman was not injured, which is important to report as can help them solve this crime and make an arrest. if so, call North Olmsted police. im dawn kendrick reporting news. veterans state senator tom patten made controversial comments about the person running against him, a woman and they have hit a nerve senior Political Correspondent story. interesting stuff here. the political talker story of the day, i think. pattens suggestion that a young mom might be overmatched trying to juggle her duties at home with those of a state lawmaker has suddenly brought attention to this largely ignored primary race and Jennifer Hill and both offended but grateful this is bringing her some media attention. i would not have expected his mouth. i was offended. reporter jennifer harold, a mom to two rambunctious boys running to be state representative for republican strong strongsville and nearby suburbs against well known comments on American Workforce program now in a media echo chamber. funding. i want to tell her, hey, sweety, i just got 27 of the pie in just my district. the only person who is able to call me sweety is this man right here, my husband maim maim patten suggesting a moms place in the home, not the house. i dont know if explained to her spend three nights a week in columbus so its our familys decision. if i think i am capable of working a job outside the home, doing these things, why should it matter . thats our familys decision. why not me . why not a young mom . reporter patten widower, raised five daughters and said it is not my intention to suggest a young mother couldnt serve ably in the legislature. i used a poor choice of words. i sincerely apologize if my words were misplaced. harold getting nationwide attention. this narrative is a long this is about women in general, women in politics, working moms. is patten concerned . when everybody tells you you got nothing to worry about, you got something to worry about. reporter harold still a very, very long shot but now a bit better. harold is a political rookie, she now works as a physical therapist. patten is running for state representative because hes term limited out as state senator. he has not had a primary opponent since 2002, he is the partys recommended candidate and we tried to speak with him today. we were told he was in town but not available to us. any indication at this point as to whether this will hurt him at all . hes so well known and so well liked, hes done so much good work for men and women in the service, for veterans, for those in need. this will, obviously, be a controversy for a short term but i doubt if its going to completely sink his reputation. thanks a lot. and of course as tom just emotional story thats drumming up controversy on social media. P. A. website that actually critics the work that has happened in couple of months. reporter superintendent bob hunt was caught off guard when someone told him that one of e. P. A. website for having issues with lead in the water system. gurney elementary in Chagrin Falls did have positive lead tests in august but the problems were fixed and approved by the e. P. A. in november. the last communication we had from the e. P. A. was that, one, we didnt have to continue testing, we have that documented and, two, that the water was fine. reporter the e. P. A. website includes a disclaimer warning some advisories come from independent sources and arent always verified by the ohio e. P. A. the page including hold and arb arb parents in Chagrin Falls believe the school is doing the right thing. they have always known of the situation. whether they have communicated with the community with the parents on it, so no, not a concern. reporter as a precaution the school has switched to bottled water until additional tests come back on february 3rd. we took immediate action, every step of the way based on the information and direction provided us by the ohio e.
