Monitor and disappeared with his girlfriend, Natasha Quigley and her 3yearold son. Bullock and quigley are both facing charges now and the child is in protective custody. If he changes his mind, though, the chief has a long list of changes he wants to make including adding extra security and off Duty Officers from o. P. D. And adding metal detectors. Measures in place. Out of those measures, had lapses or the security staff was not properly trained. In the lapse in security is why 10 people were shot here at the glitz ultra lounge early sunday morning. Investigators say Security Officers were supposed to pat down guests coming into the nightclub, but it appears that didnt happen last week. Jose jayme brooul lopez. Orlando Police Arrested jose lopez moments after the shooting. He was one of the more than 300 people at the nightclub on universal boulevard. According to court documents, the 23yearold was carrying a. 9 millimeter handgun with an extended magazine. Its unclear if he had any involvement in the shooting itself. Sir, youre charged in division 11 with carrying a concealed firearm and tampering with physical evidence. According to his arrest warrant, he told investigators he was not patted down by metal detector wand as he entered glitz. There was a rumor the shooting was a rival between two gangs. The chief said more arrests will be made soon. When a senseless and violent act like this occurs, we do not rest until those people are brought to justice. And, trust me, they will be behind bars. And chief mina went on to say that five innocent bystanders were shot in the crossfire. All of them have since been released from the hospital. The Orange CountySheriffs Office is getting dozens of unwanted guns off the street. All day the department has been hold a gun buyback event. More than 115 guns have already been turned in.
