Kirsten, what do we know at this point about the condition of these men . We know about both of them at this point. The deputy is in stable condition, recovering from gunshot wounds to the leg. In critical. We are waiting to hear from the fdle on who that man is. They have taken over the investigation and they are not releasing the mans name at this point. We know who the deputy is. That is tramell. He was shot in the leg when this whole thing played out. The man drove up to the gas station with two guns and pointed one at his head. He asked the man to put the weapon down for some time. At some point, the man started shooting his second gun at deputies who fired back. We talked with a man who lives a new doors down from the gas station. He said he heard the gun shots. We were sitting on the porch smoking a cigarette. We heard pow pow pow pow. We heard bullets come into our yard so after the exchange, the man and the sergeant were rushed to the hospital. Now, there was an extensive crime scene. Road and both roads were closed off. They are back open this morning. We are continuing to check with the hospital about the conditions of both men. We did hear from the Marion County sheriff about how this whole thing affected their department. Well give you a look at that in 30 minutes. Government scott declaring a Health Emergency for four counties as we learn new cases of the virus in the state and it is also leading to a change when it comes to Blood Donations. As you can see here, that number is growing. It stretches across the country, even to hawaii. That includes nine confirmed cases here in florida. They are in four counties, we are talking about miamidade, hillsboro and in the panhandle, the governor has declared a Health Emergency for all four counties. Rapidly spreading through latin america and the caribbean, the zika virus has continued north, confirmed cases of the illnesses through four counties prompting a hel emergency in florida, the first in the united states. Mainly pass bid mosquitos, in rare cases, it may be sexually transmitted. Officials say it raises new concerns. It would bring a new dimension to the zika problem. That will be studied further. Now deputies say they were trying to talk to a suicidal man at the station south of Silver Springs when the man started firing at them. He is in stable condition. Police in cocoa, they are hoping newly released video will help them catch a group of repeat thieves. They say the man in the video is one of three who broke into a dozen cars along several streets earlier this week. Those thieves made off with cash, jewelry, phones and even multiple guns.
