The attorney arguing Sanford Police have no evidence the gun the little girl found in the living room under the couch was his. The police said he put the gun down there, and he said yes, id sit down and shut up reporter the Attorney SaysSanford Police do not have proof williams owned the handgun the evening and fired the fatal shot. I have no evidence that mr. Williams had or ever told any Police Officer or anybody else that he ever at any time had possession of this gun. Reporter williams attorney argued several people live inside the home and they could have placed the gun under the living room sofa. It wasnt found on him. He wasnt asked whether he put it there. He wasnt asked whether he ever had possession of it. Im assuming theyre claiming he had possession of it because it was found under a couch. Reporter williams also arrested in 2006 for being a felon in possession of a firearm and also drug trafficking. People inside the home, not calling 911 and instead driving the girl to the hospital where she died of a single shot to her shoulder. Never indicated to anyone that he ever had possession of it and nobody saw him in possession of it. Reporter and williams bond is now set at 20,000. Were also talking with the police chief in sanford. Were asking him how he plans to deal with the problem of illegal reach of children. They said this is an area theyve had a lot of problems with High Schoolers cutting through the gate to try to make a shortcut to the high school. As parents and teachers from riverside Elementary School cope with the tragic accident that nearly took the life of a student if your child is showing signs of sadness or asking a lot of questions, please know we have trained staff at the School Reporter the investigators are there for a second day in a row. A group of kids climbed under a fence to take a shortcut. Several gaps were repaired but its not the only dangerous shortcut to school. This takes maybe 5, 10 minutes off the walk. Reporter shaun oliver says kids in his neighborhood regularly cut through the no trespassing zone. He says many of them are heading to Wekiva High School or nearby middle school. Its not supposed to be any trespassing back here, but they go this way and along the backside to the houses there. Reporter but now he says after the tragic accident, neighbors are paying attention. Shorter amount of time to buy clothes and supplies without paying sales tax. Another change, the tax holiday will be limited to clothes that cost 60 or less. The year before it excluded apparel over 100. The house had wanted a 10day tax holiday after the budget discussion, they decided to scale back the money they set aside for the tax cut. Reporter that man was airlifted to a nearby hospital with serious burns, after the motorcycle exploded here at orlando speed world. Deputies are calling this an industrial accident. The cleanup process continued late into the overnight hours as workers workers workers towed away the motorcycle out of the track. The explosion happened yesterday as a man was working on his bike at 10 30. This was posted after the incident on speed worlds Facebook Page. Deputies say the explosion may be related to nitrous oxide being put in the bike, a gas used to make the engines run faster. While the gas is not flammable, too hot. Last night it had a test at the track. It gives people the opportunity to test out their vehicles and have practice races. The city of Altamonte Springs is joining forces with Ridesharing Service uber. A Pilot Project will be officially revealed tomorrow morning. The city leaders hope it will make driving through the area easier. Starting march 21st, Altamonte Springs will pay 20 of each uber ride fair that starts and ends in the city. Another goal for the project say leaders is to increase sunrail ridership so all trips to and from the Altamonte Springs sunrail station in an uber car will have 25 off the ride paid for. This is the first kind of its program in the country. Project leaders hope this will roads. Lisa new information in the search for a plane that vanished almost two years ago. Ginger the wreckage has been found off the coast of mozambique. Lisa these are the new images of the debris found. A potential clue for crash investigators looking into the mysterious disappearance of that airliner. It appears to be that of a boeing 777, the same type of aircraft as the missing plane. The debris appears to be a part of the planes horizontal stabilizer. Thats a piece of the tail that helps control the motion of the planes nose. The disappearance of the flight is considered one of the worlds biggest aviation mysteries. The plane vanished from radar on march 8th, 2014. It was en route to beijing with 239 people on board. The National Center for missing and exploited children put out an email calling on the public to come forward with information on baby willow. She disappeared last month after police say Susan Richardson gave birth at the willow bend apartments on silver star road. Richardson wont tell investigators what happened to the baby. A familys dog killed at a boarding facility. Ginger were getting answers and results about what happened. Julie news 6s Eric Sandoval joins us. They say the facility lied to reporter the people called the Sheriffs Office and all they could do was fine the dog boarding facility 100 because pets are considered property in the state of florida. The dogs family tells us they understand accidents happened but they say they were lied to about what happened to molly. And they wanted us to get results. Im very mad at her. She killed my dog. Reporter the couple say the last time they saw their 7yearold dog molly alive was last fall. It was the day they dropped her and the other dog off at paws and claws boarding facility in Merritt Island. When they returned from their twoweek trip overseas, they were shocked to find out molly died. She said molly was dead. Reporter she claims molly died of a brain aneurysm. The couple say they were stunned because molly seemed to be in perfect health. Emergency contact for the dogs. They say she also ordered consent. Wrong. So they got ahold of the veterinarian molly was taken to misinformed. Molly had been attacked by seven dogs and had been mauled to death. She went to say they could not even find her trachea when they got there. Reporter they brought what they found to the owner and she denied it. If kelly was sitting right here right now, what would you say to her . I would say you should be ashamed of yourself. We put our dog in their care. Reporter we went there to get results for the family. This time they opened up about what really happened. The owners say you lied to them. Is that true .
