Looking at a nice start in pasadena and all points around the metro area. 48 in cumberland. 50 down on the shore. Near 60 in annapolis. We are at 52 in westminster and 48 in belair. Winds calm around much of the state. West flow around much of the area. It will bring in drier air, shifting from the northeast wind that we have had bringing in moisture off of the coastline. Were now going to see basically a bit of a shift. And that shift will bring a warmup. Our temperatures, normal high is 72 degrees. We had a front moving through here. Clouds associated with it. It came through dry. Its still pushing across the state. It is not bringing us any rain. So the front is only going to drop the temperatures into the 70s for today. We have been in the 70s really. Now that High Pressure is sinking down to the south, the clockwise flow around it is tapping into warmer air the rest of the week. That that means for us, the southerly flow will kick the temperatures up today. Down to 52 tonight. Look at this, 80 degrees for the first day of october. 86 on wednesday. 84, 81 and 80 heading into next weekend. Lets take a look at the rush hour this morning with sharon in the Traffic Control. Good morning. Good morning, everyone. Good news. That accident on 29 that we have been telling you about at 108 is gone. We still have the one that we have had all morning at the exit blocking two left lanes. And activity there in the city on york road at east cold spring. All lanes blocked there. Speeds slow on the west side. 40 is the average on the west side of the loop. Thats a look at the west side of the beltway. Plenty of brake lights. We are moving bert as i mentioned at 29 and 108. Brought to you by your maryland toyota dealer. Do you ever dream of all the places that you would like to go . Toyota is ready to take you there. Right now is a great time to find a great deal on a toyota. Ready to coffee with . Yes. Morning its with Jerry Oconnell. And the satellite interview is furnished by cbs. Good morning. Huge round of applause. For the next five minutes, were going to smooze and be guys and chill out. How is it going today, men . Its going great. Well. This show really intrigues me. And take this question im about to lay out as one of im wanting to know as opposed to an editorial comment. Okay. Are we here to make men look stupid . Im tired of tv shows that make men look stupid . Im not sure that they look really smart in our show. I was going to say no. And then if we can editorialize, i would say that were here to make us laugh at ourselves. Theyre not stupid guys, which i like. Theyre not brilliant. Theyre not rocket scientists. Right . My character is definitely not a rocket scientist. Thankfully not dumb. Theres a lot of heart. Here is where im going. You can watch commercials for the past ten years or so, its been beat up the guy. Were so stupid we dont know how to rent a car or this or that and we had to be saved from ourselves by the lady standing next to us. Im tired of that procedure trayal. Tray portrayal. But youre saying its just guys. Yeah. Its just guys. Each of us has a strong suit. For example, i think the comedy that youre talking about, we take it a step further. I have a trashy apartment, eats beef jerky and cant cook. This guy cooks gourmet meals. I have to cook for a woman and he teaches me how to do that. Instead of going for the obvious joke, they explore how somebody who cooks marvelous meals can teach an i idiot like me. Im like Gordon Ramsey but im wearing a speedo by the pool. I bet a bunch of guys have had to do that. You dont know how to entertain. Here is what youre going to do. Ask your buddies in times like this. Theyre about four guys going through a divorce. Its eye motionally the lowest point in their lives and how they sort of help each other out during this difficult time. You cant go to the self help section of the bookstore in these situations. Youre going to call your buddies. The show is mostly about friendship than anything else. That is cool. Let me ask you this. How much truth is in the show . Im thinking of the man show. Do you remember that show . There were blunt truings that maybe the women did not want to hear. Do we deal with blunt truths in we are men . Yeah. I mean, our boss who created the show, Rob Greenberg he comes from how i met your mother. He was divorced. He moved into one of these temporary furnished housing complexes and he was emotionally distraught after a divorce. And he met a group of other men who were also emotionally distraught going through or just going through a divorce and they were a support group for each other. Thats how he came up with the idea of we are men. Yes, truth. Scary truth. Listen hopefully there is comedy in that. We have about 50 seconds before they slam this window shut. Its another single camera show. We had Robin Williams on yesterday. The office, picturing how that was shot in your mind. I heard a previous interview and they said that it gives you latitude of things that you can do it. Yeah. I drown in one of the episodes. We actually shoot in the pool behind us. Theres a lot of comedy to seeing a guy going through this instead of having to go through it in front of a live audience. So you can develop funny subtle moments with your cast members that you dont get to do otherwise much thats been super fun. Cbs is obviously the best at putting on comedies and films in front of a live audience. This is a departure for them. We hope people will respond to it positively.
