everyone. howrd county police say there were dozens of witnesses at that restaurant that night but they were able to hunt down the suspect with the help of people who weren't there. surveillance video catches the crime as it happens. one woman pinches another woman and then steals her purse. >> i heard someone yelling. so i went over there and i saw the victim on the ground. we went over the tape and saw it was an assault and a robbery. >> reporter: someone watching the assault on the news identified the attacker as jessica white. >> it was distributed all over. from that we derived several tips. >> reporter: investigators say the 24 year old victim spotted white in a police lineup. >> we were happy to link to the media. that sort of thing never happens here. at the same time it got done what we want today have done. >> reporter: this morning white is behind bars. she is awaiting a bail hearing. >> thank you very much. police say white got away with a bank card and 15 bucks in cash. a security guard is behind bars accused of running a prostitution ring. he was arrested after a 16 year old told police she had been force today sleep with at least 8 clients. a big drug bust is made at dulles international airport. an x-ray machine detected 97 heroin pellets with a street value of about $100,000. us airways is investigating how another man managed to stow away on one of the planes. he made it up the entire east coast. >> reporter: it is not the first stow away incident for us airways. this time it was an employee who somehow snuck on to a plane in tampa tuesday morning. police say he hid in an unpressurized compartment. the employee made it to charlotte douglas airport in north carolina where he was able to board a second plane. that is where the jig was up. the worker was taken into custody. >> he being an employee of the airlines he should be the last one to do something like that. >> nothing surprises me on airlines. >> reporter: us airways would only say we can confirm we had an incident with an employee this morning and are working with the proper authorities. >> he was in a secure area but he was authorized to be there. >> reporter: the tsa is investigating whether the mechanic improperly used his credentials to access the plane stating the credentials were revoked immediately. this stow away incident comes months after a teenage boy got into the landing gear of a us airways plane. tiz dale flew to boston but died during the flight. his body was found on a route planes use for landing at an airport. the charlotte security -- the national guard is rushing to finish a levee. the main levee protecting that town has already been breached. this year's flooding of the mississippi river can create the largest dead zone in the gulf of mexico's history. the low oxygen levels can be the area roughly the size of new hampshire. prosecutors in the trial of casey anthony are down to the final witnesses and can rest their case today. >> reporter: casey anthony's mother was one of the prosecution's final witnesses testifying for the second time tuesday. she broke down and cried several times as she talked about the items found with her granddaughter caylee's body. >> i remember caylee's teddy bear was missing. >> reporter: as cindy left the stand it appeared she mouthed the words i love you to her daughter. the defense is expected to start their case thursday. they say caylee was not killed but instead drowned in the pool. there is speculation whether casey will take the stand. >> i think she is going to have to take the stand. it is not selling well especially in light of all of the lies and inconsistentacies told in the past. >> reporter: casey's former defense attorney says she believes she is innocent. >> i believe she didn't commit the crime based on things i'm obligated not to talk about. there is no real proof there was a murder at all. >> reporter: if convicted of murder anthony faces the death penalty. earlier this week jurors were told testimony could conclude by the end of next week and deliberations could begin around june 25. it appears wedding bells will not be ringing for hugh hefner this weekend. his fiance has called off the ceremony. t m z is reporting she wanted a bigger weekly allowance than she is currently receiving. one swing of the bat ended the night for the orioles in sharon at wjz traffic control. >> two new accidents in the city. one with possible lane closures. the first is on north baltimore and one on indian head drive. watch for police activity on southbound 152. also, traffic light still on flash in howard county. police are directing traffic on the scene. we are starting to look at delays, as well. down to 47 miles per hour as your average on the this half hour two girls best friends forever die together in a hit-and-run accident. this morning adam may has reaction from their families. >> reporter: 17 year old smith and 16 year old courtney angeles were best friends since kindergarten. monday night they were run over. both girls died minutes apart. >> it wasn't like you hit a deer. you hit two kids. how could you not stop. >> reporter: the family left devastated by the accident. >> if i could wave a magic wand i would have them both back. >> yes. >> no parents should deal with what i'm dealing with now. >> reporter: soon after the crash police found the car near the airport. >> there was damage which indicated that this vehicle may have been involved in an accident. >> reporter: detectives interviewed two people in the car. >> investigators say they turned to the public for help in this case and they received it. surveillance video captured the crime as it happens. one woman attacks another woman inside a restaurant tornadoes have now been confirmed in hartford county last weekend. a weak ef0 tornado touched down. they were only on the ground for a few minutes but had winds between 6385 miles per hour. in arizona investigators believe they found the cause of the biggest wildfire in that state's history. they are questioning two people who may have abandoned a camp fire that started the blaze. the fire is said to be about 20% contained. it could be a momentous day for new york congressman anthony weiner. his pregnant wife is expected tew rive home today. weiner hasn't been seen around capitol hill this
