right to control their lives. >> reporter: he's speaking now for the first time. in arizona, a woman used his organization, the final exit network to commit suicide. the group promises a painless death. he admits to approving this lady as a candidate. >> she died in a dignified way. >> reporter: he can't talk about a case in georgia. the two cases have resurrected the debate on assisted suicide. it's illegal in all but three states, including here in maryland. while he waits for his next trial, he's not helping any more people. >> my lawyer says don't be less nervous. states are different. he also said, everything times -- several times, the juries are often times un predictable. he's the only person named in both of the cases. this morning, a baltimore based journalist missing in libya is getting high powered help. dutch ruppersberger met with the family of matt van dike yesterday. they believe he's captured by gaddafi's forces. he'll introduce a resolution in congress calling for his release. what i know about gaddafi, he's controlling and he's on top of everything. if he knew he had americans there, i think that he would know who they are and where they
