hello, top of the hour on this tuesday it's starting out sticky, we're talking humiditywise. we, it's a little bit sticky and let's look at the day part, we'll be in the upper 80s. not far from normal and 85 at lunch and on the way to 89. the mid-70s this morning and this evening there have >> and traffic is sticky in one place this morning. >> the only place we're having a problem is in hanover on ridge road, that's closed this both directions due to a crash there. and the best way to get around that is to take clark road. as far as the beltway goes, no accidents or delays in or around. the volume's building for 95 southbound. and an easy drive on the harrisburg expressway, 68 miles per hour there. that's at mt. carmel road. this is moving along without much difficulty. for the most accurate information available go, to wjz.com. don, back to you. willer -- here's what people are talking about today. a plea for tips until the search -- in the search for a killer. wjz-13 and andrea fujii live outside the ark church once again. good morning, andrea. >> reporter: good morning, don and everyone. the police found millton hill's green scooter. they believe that was what he was killed for. they found it blocks away from a crowded vigil held here. ♪ >> reporter: 500 people gathered to honor the recent murder victims including millton hill. >> this is outrageous and every week, it's some vigil. >> i'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. don't snitch, tell! >> reporter: police say he was shot for his green scooter which was found blocks from the crime scene. no disrespect from men and women who lead this, i didn't come to pray, but to demand justice. >> reporter: neighbors came from waverly, barkly and charles village, the home of stephen pitcairn, killed during a robbery by a married couple who lived blocks away. in hill's case, the police haven't named suspects and they're pleading for tips. all of us have to look at each other and say, you know something, say something. >> that's right! >> stop coming up with reasons and excuses for the snakes and the vile creatures that live in the community. you know your sons and daughters are out here doing these thing. tell on them! >> you know something, come forward with it. tell it. you know what? i know stuff and i'm coming forward with it. i want assistance with it before they leave. >> the police are processing hill's green scooter for any clues including fingerprints and dna. >> a cash reward is offered. a 21-year-old reisterstown woman accused of throwing her newborn out of the window is charged with attempted murder. the police say she gave birth to the girl and put her in a bag and dropped her out of the window. the infant was found alive in the bushes and is now in the care of social services. a convicted child rapist isn't getting awaysoon. he'll remain behind bars despite a ruling he be offered a plea deal he didn't know he was offered then. he's accused of harming dozens of children in the 70s and he was found guilty of raping one of them. a sad story from louisiana. several teens have drowned. seven of them, aged between 13 and 18 were wading in a river yesterday and they stepped forward into a sinkhole of about 20 feet and no one knew how to swim and six were accept away and drown. and they had one life jacket and as you can imagine, everyone started yelling for help. no one could swim. >> the waves pushed them out that way. they tried to swim back up and they were hollering for help. a 14-year-old was rescued by the life jacket and it took the diers three hours to find the others and three were brothers. >> all eyes on the river here as an unexpected creature was spotted. kai jackson has more. >> reporter: this 16-year-old has walked through the woods more times than he can count, he loves to walk through the area. locals call this a pond. this past sundaying he spotted something that could have been the catch of a century. it was an alligator. >> reporter: he says he spotted a small alligator similar to this one found in 2008. are you certain it was an alligator. oh, no, it was an alligator. it was anywhere from two to three feet. >> what color, dark green and black. >> he ran home and told his parent and they called the department of natural resources. it's a shock that there's an alligator in the waters down here.
